I watched Jason this year in the MN state playoffs and he is alright. I don't know if he will make as big as an impact at Nate, but he is an athlete.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!! No matter who we put on the schedule some people are not going to be happy. I will still watch the games and show my Husker pride when they are playing Nicholls State or whoever else. Just to watch NU football is what it should be about.

Wasn't Murtha out for most of spring ball and all of fall ball due to a shoulder surgery? He will be starting next fall. I agree with BigWillie, but I think Patrick and Murtha will be flipped to opposite sides.

I say we put some Little 10 teams on the schedule since they think they are such a dominant conference.....look at what they did in the bowl games. We could put them all in their place. We could also ad a Cali team for recruiting.

Too many bad memories of those uniforms. I would like to see the '70s uniforms back personally. At least once a year....throwbacks???

I am from MN. The sports radio and news stations have all been talking about Tomlin and how Childress (new coach) wants to talk/interview him. The other name that is coming up is, you got it, Cosgrove. No matter what happens, they need to hire within. The defense cannot afford to learn a new system now that they Cos has got it going....2 years in a row, look out. The athletes need that continuity, as long as the recruits as well.

I know that is how it works out, but it is total crap that FSU and USC basically had home games for their bowls. Maybe Nebraska can put a bid in to host a bowl in the future. They could call it the Bugeater Bowl and have it sponsored by Raid. Just kidding!!!

With the bowl win and good spring ball these guys could have some very nice momentum to carry into USC and pull off a win. It could all get better if we come away with a win against the Trojans. I will stay optimistic for a major bowl bid, but not too optimistic...don't want a huge let down if it does not happen.

I have a mac in my office at school, but I don't want to wait until tomorrow morning. I will try again.

Although Vince was amazing last night, I have to go with Tommie. It brought back some good memories of Tommie watching Vince do his thing against the "beloved" Trojans.

I would have to agree with former.....did I just say that??? Those two teams were loaded with talent that year, but NU proved to that you don't need all of the best players in the nation to win....no big surprise.
