  1. He has 2 sons on the team. I am sure this factors. Cotton was handpicked by Bo and he probably gets a pass for now. ding, ding, ding
  2. sure sounds like it. I need to find out some info on Frost though. Anyone know his cable guy?
  3. Okay, there is enough smoke to come to the conclusion Wats, Gilmore and Sanders are gone. However, is Frost coming or not??? There are some random, cryptic stuff out there, but I'm just not sure about that aspect yet. I think it would be a great addition to the staff and I think the Oregon offense is exactly what Bo wants, so maybe it makes sense. I also love Tim Beck and think he could be an awesome coordinator, but as a first timer, it might not hurt to have someone along side, maybe someone on the sideline to be with the QB.
  4. I'm looking into the same thing actually, looking at various sources. This is my first time, if you don't mind me asking, where were your seats last year and what did you have to pay for them? Thanks!
  5. Now Husker Locker, on Facebook, is also reporting a 4:30 team meeting. Who knows, could be nothing, could be something, could be Bo reminding his players to use their heads when out and about, on the heels of the latest DUI. With the impending Snowpacolypse coming here in KC, I'll be glued to my computer!
  6. Just saw another post over on RSS where there is a unscheduled team meeting today at 4:30, but the post quickly got deleted. Seems to be some smoke billowing. We'll see I guess.
  7. Congrats on that solid 7 win season!
  8. This will be a good rivalry when Michigan doesn't suck anymore.
  9. According to cbssports.com, NU is second to Mizzou in the Big 12 North standings. I guess since we lost the CCG and Mizzou didn't. Funny stuff that. The division ended after we beat CU, no other wins/losses count towards you divisional record after that.
  10. Let the speculation begin... Maybe he already took his finals early, which allowed him to go home this week to relax with family? Whatever the case may be, team practice resumes this Friday. Funny thing is, he was mentioned in another tweet 18 minutes after that, saying he was just in a Lincoln tattoo joint. Go figure!
  11. I fully expect them to be a lot more prepared for us this time. Whether they have the horses on D, I don't know, but then, whether Taylor gets healthy or not, I don't know either. The only reason we lose this game is if we don't come to the game like we want to be there, which could very well happen. We've already proven once that we have far better athletes than what Washington has, and we've also proven that our coaches are better. You are exactly right. We are a better football team from top to bottom, but we can also get beat by the lowest of the low, so we HAVE to come to play. I also hope the three weeks will help Martinez regain the Magic from earlier in the season.
  12. I watched David almost all night from high above Jerry World the other night and he is an absolute beast. He will be a phenomenal player next year as we go back to a more traditional 4-3 D.
  13. In that article, it doesn't sound like he's a top guy for the job, but one thing I DID take out of that piece that is interesting is this part.... During last night's in-home visit with four-star quarterback Jamal Turner in Arlington, Watson was not with running backs coach Tim Beck. Turner said he expects NU head coach Bo Pelini to perform an in-home with him visit sometime next week. By the way, Jamal Turner walked through our tailgate, by the stadium, on Saturday, we yelled at him and told him we can't wait for him to be in Husker Red, he just grinned and gave us a thumbs up, he was with his girlfriend, I think and having a blast, grinning from ear to ear.
  14. Turf toe can occur after a very vigorous upward bending of the big toe. It got it's name due to the fact that it occurs frequently in people who play games on artificial surfaces. The shoe grips hard on the surface and sticks causing bodyweight to go forward and so bending the toe up. It is also common in martial arts. You are more at risk if you have increased range of motion in the ankle and / or wear soft flexible shoes.
  15. Taylor said on his FB page that he "doesn't know" if he's starting or not, but that doesn't surprise me I would think he would say even if he did. Somebody said that they really hoped to see him out on the field on Saturday and his response was "me too". I just have a weird feeling that he'll be starting and actually be pretty healthy.
  16. I'm putting my money on him starting and actually playing well. Something stinks about the turf toe injury, I'm not buying it 100%....
  17. Bring it!! I PRAY that Landry Jones throws the ball 60+ times Saturday night, like he did last week. He's already on the list of QB's that this D has made look stupid, I hope he gets to place his name on that list once again!
  18. No conference championships in 11 years, no BCS games in 9, LOTS of bad losses, few good/great wins, there IS a reason people aren't jumping up and down about us. I REALLY hope we can take a giant step forward this Saturday night, I know that!!!
  19. VERY cool, well done sir!!!
  20. Did anyone ever find this online or through the athletic department? I've been scouring the net with no luck.
  21. Headed down from KC on Thursday afternoon, picking up a buddy in OKC. We've had our tix for quite a while. Staying in a Marriott semi close to the stadium. Can't freaking wait!!!
  22. I would say, no, he's not available to play. Lee, however, has been cleared to play this weekend, but I don't expect to see him.
