This is where I’m at. I’m kind of on the fence about it anyway. If you don’t want your signs stolen, do something different. That being said, having staff members dedicated to stealing signs seems trash to me.

I've done that at the bar a few times. Trying to make eye contact with one when another walked past. Missed on both.

I went to K State v TCU game Saturday. He's exciting. I can tell you the fans definitely want Johnson in the game. It's obvious. Howard is a Senior. I just don't see it, but it'd be interesting.

Program needs to get dirty in the off season. Hopefully they have someone digging through the lower tier teams looking for a QB we can steal with an "opportunity" and/or NIL money.

Jimbo Fischer hasn't done much without Winston. Edit: Chizek, not Malzhan hasn't done much without Newton. Belichick probably should have retired when Brady left. They all get paid a lot of money.

There's nothing to gauge. No measuring stick is even possible without a rating. The coaches should sit back and wait for who Nike tells them after the elite 11 camp. Quite honestly, all teams should just wait for the sports writers associated with 24/7 to tell them how good the players are and then make their selections.

I don't know what Johnson can do until HH fixes his throwing motion. I'm kidding. The one thing that Johnson does that I think separates him is he hits the line of scrimmage quickly. Far faster than anyone else currently seeing action. I like Grant's style, but he has a lot of hesitation in the backfield. I think Grant could be pretty special if he just hit the line quickly. Johnson does that.

These are all great "nuggets" that had almost no impact on the performance TM. AM, in my opinion, had poor field vision and/or didn't understand coverages. He was always late. I feel like everytime we start to have these mechanics discussions I always go back to the pirate. I remember him on game day talking about how he really only looked for one thing in a high school QB....accuracy. I wish I could find the clip, but I've never been able to. All I have is this. Mike Leach: "If a quarterback isn't accurate, you shouldn't recruit him" - Footballscoop I played D2 ball too. I was a DB. We didn’t have a position coach, just a GA. My GAs were a D lineman and a running back. I’m with Mike.

QB rating is flat YoY. The percentage from 2010 to 2012 accounts for approximately 1.25 completions per game.

That’s great. I won’t say he’s not better, but dramatically? From my standpoint he went from being a terrible thrower to an average/below average thrower. And I’m leaning toward below average. We get hung up on mechanics. I’m going to slide over to AM for a moment. He could rarely hit a WR out of break and was always behind on timing. That has nothing to do with mechanics. TM was a freak athlete. Pretty poor at tossing it around.

I apologize for derailing this Malachi Colman thread by bringing up Malachi Coleman, but it was nice to see that separation on the TD. He smoked that guy.

Two games that were the first under an entirely new coaching staff for the program. They are not even in the Minnesota game without Sims legs. Its fine if they stick with HH, but wondering about the performance of Sims after everything has stabilized is not unreasonable in my opinion. HH is not very good. It’s likely Sims is not either, but it’d be interesting to see him get a series or two. That being said, I trust the coaches are making the decision they feel gives them the best chance to win.
