Yep, in the grand scheme of things, the loss doesn't really hurt us since we were pretty much out of the national title picture anyways. We can still win the North next week and win the conference championship, which was our goal at the beginning of the season. Before the season started, this was the game I was most worried about. I thought that this was the game that we would have the most trouble with, but I didn't think that it would be like the outcome last night.. It's time to take on Colorado. You can bet they're going to be playing for fire as they become bowl eligible with a win against us next week. We need to take care of business and get the W next week.

There have been a couple rumors about it.. The one I find the most interesting is the one that said Taylor was texting his girlfriend saying he was okay while they were waiting on the x-rays to come back. One of the coaches saw it and mentioned it to Bo, who went to rip Taylor a new one, basically saying that he needed to get his head in the *&*(^(*^ game if he wanted to be the man. Take it with a grain of salt, but that's just one rumor that's circling around. Another rumor being that Taylor was talking to a teammate on the bench about how it was a bunch of bull how Bo was yelling at Cotton after he took him out of the game and Bo overheard him.. I'm not sure if any of these are true, just forwarding some of the info I have.

Had to go with the bounty option. After last night it was pretty obvious what was going on. I have never seen a game end up like it did.

When Bo said in the post-game presser that Taylor's ankle didn't affect his gameplay in the second half. I have to raise the BS flag on that one. Every time that we ran the read option with him, it was pretty much a given that the ball was going to the back. Even on his throws Martinez wasn't getting the power he needed to complete some of his throws. It's going to be a tough call whether or not the coaches play him against Colorado.

I don't think Pelini makes any excuses. He knows when they play bad and he calls it like he sees it.
