I am all for walk-ons and I understand the "pride", but lets face it, that 97' team prolly won't happen for another 30 years having that many starters on offense from Nebraska. He didn't mention that we had a VERY GOOD defense and all of them WEREN'T from Nebraska. Another thing, Tom Osborne is one of the greatest college coaches of all time.

Vincent Valentine would be a HUGE pickup. I think we kind of lack here IMO with overrated players. Rome looks like he could be good, but not impressed with others.

He was quoted saying we were one of 3 that kept contact with him throughout. Michigan might offer soon, said he'd look hard into them if they did.

Hopefully we don't keep all our young talent at WR go to waste

Yes we are still in the mix, he's still looking at Washington, Cal, and Michigan too.

I've commented on both of their Big Boards every week and tweeted at Kiper. Not one response. You can't teach heart and instincts, and I don't think any other LB in the nation has more than him in those two categories.

1. Agree 2/3. No Carl is fine at D coordinator. Bo is in his ear enough anyways. 4. I def see ur point here, he should at least get a chance along with Carnes. 5. He's only a soph so has plenty of time to improve but havent seen enough yet. 6. Choi = Boss 7. Eh, again haven't seen enough from him but has made strides. The kid can tackle but his coverage still makes me hold my breath. 8. I've heard this from others but I like Stafford at safety unless we feel Zaire or Whaley can't cut it next year. 9. We played some this year, but Abdullah and others didn't play enough, not even close. 10. Dk about all year, but needed more often. 11. Yup 12. Already talked about backups 3 times. I think Bo is our guy and stand by him as head coach but: 1. I'd like to see him stay more poised in situations because I think this wears off on our team. More turnovers and penalties when kids are scared to make mistakes. 2. Why do we see players and then they disappear? Osborne and Turner were the main two.

Great thread because he has improved leaps and bounds to where I feel a little more comfortable with this unit for next season.

He's not Linebacker. Period. He doesn't have the urge to attack players and make a hit, he stands and takes the blow and still misses the tackle. He won't play next year either.

His mechanics are still horrible and always will be horrible. BUT he is getting better because he is making better decisions. Beck has helped his case as well

Garrison helped out this year I think. We have a great young O line coming up for the next 4 years along with wide receivers and running backs. It's gonna come down to the defensive side of the ball IMO.

Solid pickup for the team. Gonna need a power back after Burkhead leaves.

We lose our 3 best players on defense, technically... Crick is gone for good too... I think we should be pretty salty on offense as long as we can build more depth on the OL... Well didn't count him since he's been hurt for a while. All teams lose good players, need people to step in and for what we lose we should be alright.

We lose 2 players on defense, our best 2, but only 2. I don't count Cassidy. Offense we lose 4. Kinnie hasn't done much all year but Caputo and our 2 tackles hurt a little. I think we will be in good shape IMO

Our defense always plays well when the other team doesn't have a scrambling QB
