  1. I was so fed up with Diaz's lack of power in the post. I really hope this guy adds about 30lbs on muscle without killing his knees and ankles. Based on Nebraskas success with guys from overseas, I predict he scores more joint related surgeries than points in 2012.
  2. Nebraska still in the lead. The vote totals will be updated daily, so no running total.
  3. Not a huge fan of radio personalities that spend more time laughing on the air at themselves than actually having well thought out discussions (schick and nick/Todd n' Tyler) I skipped the first song, but the second one got me to chuckle a couple times.
  4. Who is Morgan? I think he might mean this guy: http://espn.go.com/c...jermaine-morgan yes, he will end up being here, and he will start hmmm. I heard that they (the CSU signees) will not be coming to Nebraska. Coach Miles, the players, and the CSU coaching staff had a discussion and decided that it's best if the players stick out their commitment to the school. Nothing is set in stone, though.
  5. These rosters are pretty fluid. we will see guys who start with the whites switch to the reds and vice-versa by end of the game. I am looking to see how much Ameer and Aaron look running the ball... and thats... about... it.
  6. If I recall, I don't think they will allow you to bring in a lens with any sort of significant zoom. Point and click cameras and DSLR's with low-moderate zoom are fine, but not "professional" extreme zoom lenses.
  7. Sweet! Great get by the staff. And now, Rivals rating drop for Josh in 3.....2......
  8. yeah, that ^^ http://www.omaha.com/article/20120324/NEWS/303249962#video theres the presser. Seems like a good guy, like his enthusiasm. I hope this is the hire that raises the bar.
  9. I'm interested in finding out a lot more about his coaching philosophies. So far it seems everyone talks about his "successes", but what kind of team does he put on the court? Is he an offensive coach, defensive coach, or all around. What type of offense does he run? Is he a zone or man to man type of guy? I like the sounds of the GATA. Doc generally had a decent defensive team, although I think the numbers were skewed because his offenses were so horrible that they often run the clock down to nothing, shortening the game thus minimizing the opposing offense the opportunity to put up big numbers. Doc couldn't coach offense if he had the Miami Heat roster.
  10. to paraphrase: Wichita State's Marshall says No Ohio's Groce apparently wouldn't be interested VCU's Smart apparently wouldn't be interested Not surprised. Can't say I blame them, all of the above could stand for much higher profile job offers with far greater risk.
  11. Would be incredibly surprised if he turns this down.
  12. Just win and stop relying on JUCOs. There are programs all over the country in desolate locations, with little funding, and low "nationally recognized" talent pools that manage to put a solid team on the court year after year. Nebraska has (will have) great facilities, and it seems a dedication to give a coach the resources he needs to win. I don't care if we get 5* players. There are plenty of coaches that know how to recruit and shape their program efficiently.
  13. Does he know something we don't know? I'm fine with him being offered for offense, he has legit speed for his size and decent hands. Could be a beast.
  14. Well why wouldn't they? That's the way that basketball is played... right?
  15. Did Toney just airball that 3 footer? Thats amazing. I'm not even mad....
  16. Odds Nebraska gets to the ever elusive 20 point mark in the first half?
  17. Make your shots down low. F'n A How many misses can we have within 5 feet of the bucket.
  18. Toney is having a tough outing thus far.
  19. Yup. Slow and Weak is a bad formula against good athletes. In basketball that = desperation fouls. Nebraskas only chance is to make some tough shots, which haven't been falling yet.
  20. I wish we could get an athletic big guy. Should be easy to recruit... they will play from day one if they are willing to play D. So sick of our lack of athleticism in the post.
  21. I love this idea. I really think Nebrasketball could become respectable. The state is willing to support this team... More Here: http://huskerextra.c...d829cd82ea.html
  22. Typical Docsketball. Sneak out a close win over a highly touted opponent once a year, get everyone fired up. Sorry Doc, fool me thrice, shame on you... 2011-12 vs #13 Inidiana 2010-11 vs #12 Texas A&M 2008-09 vs #17 Texas 2007-08 vs #16 Oregon
  23. I think beck would like to get more passing in his offense. But he is just working with the hand he was dealt. If I'm Jordan, I redshirt and start working with Fuller *fingers crossed* or Tommy every day... run routes and catch passes until your legs can't move any more. Then have a waterboy push you through your routes in a wheelchair and catch some more footballs. We could have a deadly passing attack with Turner, Bell, Jordan.
