  1. ‘Cause it still doesn’t feel quite like Nebraska’s conference. But not any less than the Big 12 did IMO. I never liked cheering for Texas. The other thing is Michigan is a blue blood and I think it’s natural to want other teams to win championships.
  2. LOL, this wasn’t a case of the better team beating themselves. They had almost identical penalty yards, the same # of TO, and Michigan had 22% more yards than Alabama and a higher yards per pass and higher yards per carry. It was 2 evenly matched teams that would probably split 10 games 6-4 or 5-5.
  3. I don’t. I’d prefer Michigan loses a close game. Then the new B1G and old B1G both look good.
  4. Yikes. It wasn’t Democrats who started this in Colorado. I think you should try to keep better track of things before deciding to burn the constitution w/o realizing it.
  5. I don’t think you’re making the point well, but yes I suppose political judges could just say a candidate engaged in insurrection, if they want. Even if there was no evidence. I’m not sure what the next step would be after that. Assuming the Supreme Court disallows this, will they say a conviction of insurrection be required?
  6. They had a terrible drive at the 12:30 mark and the guy ran into the punt returner, but I don’t know what there was other than that. I’ve seen Nebraska make 3x as many bad decisions in less time.
  7. If Texas wins this this will be the most Nebraska way to lose a game. And, they need to change the injury rule. Just have the clock start on the ref’s whistle and allow the clock to wind down like it would have.
  8. The prev drive by Wash was pretty awful. Took something like 30 secs off the clock before punting. They need to do something with this one.

  10. Why does he have a ! next to the OL #? It's saying they are only without 9% of it.
  11. It doesn't make sense, unless Syracuse was able to get him a lot more $ than OSU. Most of the articles are saying he left because he wasn't promised the starting job next season. But no competitive person should want to play for a coach that would promise a starting job to someone. How could you not wonder about all of the other players starting, and whether they actually earned it? Or what the coach is saying to all of the others who play your position? It's also really weird to go 11-1 for the school you've been at 3 years and not want to win the National Championship with them. He will now have s#!ttier linemen, s#!ttier RB, s#!ttier receivers (I'm sure someone will name some Syracuse player, but I'm talking in general). I don't think playing for Syracuse will make him look better to NFL teams.
  12. I had this exact thought. Even the same uniforms almost.
  13. I would accept amnesty if he has to live in North Korea for the rest of his life.
  14. The Missouri coach doesn't know how to drink water. Edit: just discovered his last name is Drinkwitz... he just squirted a water bottle sideways, parallel to his lips, and tried to catch the water with his tongue.
  15. OSU was late getting off the field there. Pretty easy call they missed.
  16. I think he might be the next guy actually. Apparently he got reps in their spring game because Brown was injured.
  17. So far he's looking like a Nebraska QB
  18. I'm ready for another first down
  19. I just want Day's beard to go gray so he isn't so scary to look at
  20. What did the 4 judges do that you think they shouldn’t have? They didn’t create the lawsuit that came before them. Do you think the argument that Trump engaged in insurrection isn’t strong enough for the decision they made?
  21. I have no problem whatsoever if a player headed to the NFL opts out of a bowl game to prevent injurying themselves before getting their paycheck. Get your $ then injure yourself in the NFL. And I don't really fault a transfer player doing it either, but I fault the system that allows that to happen. The NCAA needs to do whatever they need to do to disallow players from entering the transfer portal prior to the National Championship game. If that means moving the early signing day to January 15, then do that. (I know the 2 are not the same, but I assume many transfer decisions are based in part on who is being signed out of high school). But I know that's problematic too since freshman are getting on campus early - but they were doing that before the early signing day existed. I just don't recall how it worked.
