  1. Statistically, you don't have near enough evidence to back up your claim that faith in God is correlated with wins. Look up some other coaches, those who believe in God and those who don't (good luck picking out the ones who aren't just saying it). Then get back to me. Logically, as a Christian, I say this is crazy talk. There are people getting raped and shot every day, and having faith in God leads to more football wins? What happens when one Christian coach's team plays against another Christian coach's team? What's the 2nd factor involved in deciding? Which coach prayed the most? Which coach was born-again first? Which coach saved the most non-believers? It's ridiculous to think belief in God leads to more wins. The only thing I will say is perhaps not having football as your #1 priority helps you relax more and not act like a jerk to the players, and could perhaps help in that regard.
  2. Clinton. And I've actually been called by her campaign twice. Gonna tell them to stop next time. If I didn't live in Nebraska's District 2 I'd vote for Stein as a protest vote.
  3. With no upsets this week, we'll be ranked #8 in both polls on Sunday.

    B1G Week 6

I browsed their forum a couple weeks back, they have that ingrained training that they are not allowed to spell Huskers name properly like some people from Ohio about UM, didn't know that was a thing with them. I didn't know it was either, heh. (Kinda like us and that team 3 states south of us)

    B1G Week 7

It seems like a lot of really good teams have trouble with FG kicking. Kinda funny. I remember one year Alabama was especially atrocious at it.
  6. In 1992 I couldn't stand Clinton when he was running and I never liked him. Not that I was old enough to vote at the time. But how many of the accusations against him were even out at that point? Didn't Broaddrick come out with her story after Clinton started his 2nd term? And again, there's no more proof Bill did any of these things than Trump did. And for the millionth time, BILL ISN'T RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT. And no comment on Hillary defending a 41 year old man that raped a 12 year old girl and them trashed the girl claiming ahe wanted attention? Then years later Hillary laughed about the fact she knew he was guilty? She was an attorney doing her job, and she was laughing about how crappy the lie detector test was, years later. She also said the case was terrible. And regardless of that, you're comparing this to actually sexually assaulting someone and saying what Hillary did was worse. You really need to think about how crazy this is. So you would not have voted for Bill Clinton in 1992 or 1996 if you had the chance? There were other women who came forward before Broaddrick including Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, and some from the 1980s when he was governor. And I know Bill is not running, but HIllary played a role in enabling this sort of behavior. There are many accounts of folks who worked in the White House at the time discussing how Hillary tried to trash these women and lead the strategy to discredit them. Now if Hillary and Bill were not pathological liars, perhaps it makes sense to not believe multiple women as well as the staffers. Regarding her defense of the rapist, she was laughing about the lie detector test BECAUSE SHE KNEW her client was guilty and that she falsely trashed a 12-year old girl. There is audio evidence of this. Neither candidate is great for women, but acting like Hillary is a champion for women is ludicrous. You think the only reason most of won't vote for The Pig is because he's a Misogynist? That's amusing. There's so much wrong with him it's hard to know where to begin.
  7. http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/13/health/why-women-dont-report/index.html Why women don't report sexual assault
  8. http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/13/politics/jerry-falwell-jr-donald-trump-accusers/index.html Sorry Trump. This may shed doubt on the accusers' stories but it certainly isn't proof and it won't win you a court case against NYT. So tired of hearing this crap. There's a reason many women come forward in similar circumstances and it's not because they're all lying. I'm guessing a lot of it is because they have no evidence other than their claim.
  9. YOU LIE! Fortune cookie fortunes don't have enough room for all that.
  10. Really seems par for the course. Difficult question? Blame current/prospective leadership and foreigners! What the hell. He'd tell a little girl she needs to be scared about foreign policy, terrorism, crime in the streets and job losses, he and Trump will make it go away and she will become rich. Mk.
  11. Fearmongering, and one of those fears is of science.
  12. I don't think this guy has heard of sample size. Last time Nebraska was ranked in the top 10 we lost: Sample size = 1 Big Ten teams are 4-1 in their homecoming games so far this season: Sample size = 5 (and is crap anyway because none of those teams were Indiana) Maybe he should change the methodology for his crappy predictions.
  13. How many times has Calvin Jones picked against Nebraska so far? It's at least 2.
  14. And so will everyone else's as they get into the meat of their schedules.
  15. Thought I'd post these word clouds I made from the convention speeches. (Okay, admittedly I just did them on a website instead of making them myself 'cause I was lazy). Anyhow, I might do them from the debates but it'll take a lot more work since I'll have to split up the transcripts by who said what. Should be easy to tell who is who. Apparently upper/lower case matters because there is president and President.
  16. What I found weird about that video is how much her accent has changed. I think she purposely tried to make it less southern once they were done with Arkansas. Other way around. She adopted a more southern accent after living in Arkansas a few years (after Bill was defeated after his first term as Governor), as well as adopting the Clinton surname. Prior to that, she was Hillary Rodham. She made both changes because Arkansans felt that she was too much a Yankee and too much a feminist. Arkansans are not the most advanced or tolerant people. Oh right... I knew she wasn't from there but kinda forgot, heh.
  17. I've said it before but I'd be fine with her getting impeached if they have enough evidence to do it. But: see Haliburton. The whole system is effed no matter how much you want to say it's just one side or one couple.

There is audio evidence of this. Neither candidate is great for women, but acting like Hillary is a champion for women is ludicrous. I just told you I didn't like Clinton. Why are you asking me again? I would have voted for Bush at the time, but seeing as I was 10 that doesn't mean much. I never trusted Bill though. He was fake as hell and I could see it as a kid. In hindsight he seemed to be pretty damn good for the country but I never started liking him, and whatever I thought of Bill starting from 1992, I thought Bush was 10x worse but in a different way - lack of intellgence. As for the rest I've already responded it. I don't give a flying f*** if Hillary tried to trash women she thought were lying. I don't give a flying f*** if she called them bimbos, whores, sluts, or head cases. Lots of normal women/men would do that after being cheated on with those women, while talking to a close friend, in order to vent their frustration to someone. She was laughing at the efficacy of lie detector tests, and she was doing her job, as others have stated. Arguing with me again after I stated that already isn't going to do any good. You bring up the same "points" over and over. They don't have any more meaning now than they had in May.
  20. It's just hilarious how he is reacting to this. He literally does the same thing to Bill every. single. day. He tells everyone Bill assaulted those women, because they said so. This is exactly the same thing! I actually believe all of them, both the Trump and Clinton accusers. But Bill isn't running.
  21. So Trump's argument is that he wouldn't assault her because she's ugly. And he thinks that's a good argument. It's not. That said
  22. I heard that term for the first time last week, had to look it up. I tried and google failed me. I didn't know what it meant either
  23. No, no he doesn't. Unless he has recordings of every second in his Florida house from 2005. Or video of the elevator incident. And there is absolutely no way to prove he didn't walk into those locker rooms unless the locker rooms were illegally recorded. Or he has recordings of those women saying they're lying. There's no way he has any of this. He's lied about literally everything else he's ever said or "changed his mind." The appropriate time is after he's elected president I'm sure.
  24. I know next to nothing about law but it seems like there's no way Trump would win here. Wouldn't NYT have to have fabricated what the women told them? As long as the women told them these things, even if the women are lying, I don't think NYT could lose a lawsuit.
