  2. Calvin Jones must have had a lot of concussions. He does know Bo isnt our HC anymore right? My exact thought!
  3. I loved about 10 blocks from the stadium for 3 years and the last 2 years I didn't attend many games. The Miami game was the only time I could hear the stadium from my apartment.
  4. It's so obvious how he would run the country. Any leader who says something nice about him personally will get whatever they want and get to do whatever they want. Anyone who's "mean" to him personally will get sanctions or bombs.
  5. Don't we currently have food regulations? but we see issues all the time, what gives? This is really your reply? You thought it all through and this is what you came up with? Don't we currently make efforts to stop terrorism? But terrorist attacks happen in the U.S. anyway. What gives? Do you really want to go there? Does Trump want to go there? Let's not do any monitoring of anyone and let anyone who wants come into the country. Because terrorist attacks happen anyway. It's okay if another 9/11 happens. It'll happen anyway. You seriously think because there have been disease outbreaks that none of these policies stop the others? You think because one person got a vaccine and got sick we should stop getting vaccinated? You think because we've had a couple terrorist attacks that zero have been thwarted? Really?
  6. Totally. Same with work safey relations. Let's go back to the 19th century, y'all. The fact even ONE person is saying these statements is okay is just mind-blowing. I guess we deserve this dumbass.
  7. what in the holy f* OMG the FDA monitors food temperatures. Pfft damn the government ruling our lives by keeping us from f*ing dying. This effing sh**stain can't get any dumber.
  8. Yep, basically Clinton needs to hold onto Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Michigan and Wisconsin (and keep the others she has a big lead in). If Trump takes Pennsylvania and Florida and Ohio then it's gonna get pretty dicey for her. Well on top of that, Trump is down only 3 for the rest of Maine, and a Reuters poll out today now has him up in Colorado. Trump definitely has the enthusiasm edge, while Hillary has the Democratic machine that cranked out a lot of votes for Obama. The poll I saw was +3 in Maine. But that was a poll of all of Maine (including the part that has the better chance of giving him points).
  9. I suggest reading up on the Clean Air Act if you believe there is nothing we can to do to make a difference short of going back to horse and buggies. Or look at pictures of one of China's many green sludge bodies of water and multiple cities that get worse than Salt Lake City.

  11. Am I allowed to sit when I go to the bathroom?
  12. Well, yeah, there is this little thing called a hypothesis that is kind of an important element of the scientific method. The thing is, though, more importantly, food science is a very young field, and doesn't know a lot yet. About anything. Anyone worth their salt within the field would admit as such - it's not at all like astronomy/geology/biology/etc. in terms of progress and discovery. Of course the process requires a hypothesis. My point was that I don't think as much of it is done without bias as many purport. It's just human nature, people like their thoughts validated and to be proven right. Luckily their are also people who likely disagree and will counter with research disproving false findings. And in the rush to release findings for whatever reason, we are treated to numerous studies claiming something is good or bad for us only to be dispelled or reversed in short order. Sorry, I just tire of everyday hearing how we need quit eating this or start doing that. I suppose it is necessary but it is numbing after so many false reports. The thing that has always rung true and will probably always ring true is "Everything in moderation."
  13. If you like thick, corn fed girls, come to my buddies house when you get to town. Thick like how Ron Weasley says it or thick in the thighs thick? I need to know for a friend.
  14. It amazes me how many people still go on low fat diets. Especially when they then eat things like low fat yogurt where they just add a bunch of extra sugar to make up for the loss of flavor.
  15. Nothing against Raising Canes, as it's pretty good stuff. But there has to be better food out there other than a chain chicken place. That's like saying "you gotta try the Chick Fil-A". Thank you. Just saw this after I posted.
  16. You lost a lot of credibility with the Raising Canes recommendation in my not so humble restaurant opinion. He probably doesn't want to know which national chain restaurant to go to. It's not in Oregon, but it's all over the place, and it wasn't founded in Nebraska. OP - go to McDonalds. They have the best french fries you'll ever taste.
  17. We're affecting climate change. That said, it's way LESS important that we're affecting climate change than people make it out to be. We are doing all sorts of other sh**ty things to damage the world. We're hurting the air we breathe. We're causing plants/trees to become extinct. Bees are dying, the ocean is so polluted it's becoming problematic for the fish to live in it. Lead is in our water, even in the U.S. These are things we KNOW we're causing. We should be doing something about THOSE instead of arguing about this. (By "we" I mean the people who can do something. Not "we" in this forum post). And many of the things we could be doing for all of that would at the same time help the climate change problem just in case we are the cause. Not just in China. Here's Salt Lake City. Yes, it's in the perfect location to have problems like this but it's not just places with thick visible smog that have problems.
  18. The Big Ten makes the conference schedule so we have no control over when we play those games. I know... Do you? Yes. I still know. Being annoyed at the schedule doesn't mean I'm lobbying to change it. I'm just thinking of a couple recent years when we had a good record and then things went to hell.
