  1. I live in the area of Nebraska where the race is a bit tighter and an electoral vote could possibly go to Clinton. I'll look at how close it is when the election gets closer. If it's close, I'll vote Clinton. If it's not, I'll probably vote for Jill Stein. I'm ignorant about both her and Johnson right now but from what I've heard of him and knowing she's green party I'm guessing I agree more with her. I have plenty of time to look into both of them. If I was polled today I'd say I'm voting Johnson just to try to get a 3rd person on the debate stage.
  2. I've been wondering lately about this. I'm pretty ignorant about what past Secretaries of State have done, and I wondered what I should have heard about her that the others did better. Powell helped sell the Iraq war. That's one thing I know.
  3. Dunno why John Lennon's killer wants parole. His life on the outside would be awful.
  4. One of those is a lot worse than the other.
  5. Is anyone complaining? I see surprise that a fourth-year starting QB wasn't voted captain but I guess I don't see anyone complaining about it. We have one person saying the captains aren't diverse and another saying Tommy needs to have a fire lit under his butt (clearly there's something wrong with a QB not named captain!111) because he wasn't made a captain. It's okay for you to not care about these comments, fyi. Doesn't mean you need to try to tell anyone noticing them that they're imagining things. Maybe see what the people who made the comments say in response. I think you should be the HR person for the board. I haven't seen much from you lately that isn't trying to correct someone's response to another.I'm okay with you trying to argue that, but it doesn't apply here whatsoever. Mavric had just replied to me in similar fashion. Except he doesn't do it all the time. So I don't know what he has to do with it? Maybe I'm still sour from the Illinois game 2 years ago when it comes to you. I'm saying Mavric was replying to myself and BigRedBuster similarly, so I don't see the issue in my replying to "someone's response to another." Why do you remember so far back? That's just weird. I guess I was really annoying that day 'cause I have no idea what you're talking about. I have an argument with someone on here and a month later I don't recall/care and I'm fine with talking to them. Edit: I had to look. THIS is what you remembered? I disagree with someone and was sarcastic. Not sure why it's such a big deal you still remember it. I have a crazy memory. For whatever reason that day stuck with me when it comes to you. I'm not sure that's what it was that made me uptight. I think it was a culmination of what you were saying that day. It was a long time ago so I don't remember that specific post being the one to set me off. I thought I was much more harsh than that. The reason I remember it, is because everyone jumped me for saying something... There wasn't much more to it than what I posted above. You kinda flew off the handle but that's what people do in game threads which is why I had no memory of it.

  7. I agree...this makes Lochte's dumb act look minor. No it doesn't. The dude didn't stand up for the anthem. You've got it backwards.

Maybe see what the people who made the comments say in response. So even after see what they say in response you still won't admit that you assumed wrong. But please continue to lecture the rest of us. Immediately after saying my assumption was wrong he said Tommy was slighted. Why else would southern think Tommy was slighted other than by not getting enough votes (which is exactly what my 8 word reply was about)? That's what the entire thread is about. And I wonder what southern thinks is the reason Tommy didn't get enough votes. This whole, weird conversation stemmed from you saying he was talking about Cook, even though he said "Tommy" in his sentence and that was the only part I was replying about. But your reply probably stemmed from thinking my "pay attention" comment was rude which I'll agree to.

  10. Because he wasn't liked by his teammates. Hopefully this lights a fire under Tommy's butt. Pay more attention. Tommy had a lot of votes. Pay more attention. He was talking about Cook.Huh? He said "Hopefully this lights a fire under Tommy's butt," implying that because Cook wasn't captain because he wasn't liked it must mean Tommy isn't liked and needs to have a fire lit under his butt. You only barely have to read between the lines to see that. I didn't imply that at all. I answered to why Cook wasn't picked. I then stated that hopefully this slight will motivate Tommy. I'd be embarrassed if I were a senior QB and didn't get picked as an offensive captain. So you're saying Tommy was slighted. That's almost exactly what I've been saying the whole damn time here. That's exactly why I said Tommy received a lot of votes. Glad we got that figured out.
  11. One of these things is not like the others... I hate it to say it but I wasn't sure if you meant Alabama or Iowa State

  14. He isn't saying to leave NATO, we need more than 8 out of 28 NATO countries to help fight global terrorism. If they are not going to help, then why should be help them? It's a fair point to make once you take the political blinders off. It is stated that an attack on one nation is an attack on all. France has stated as such, but to tell you the truth we haven't really been fighting them either because this POTUS is too weak on terror and is more concerned about trying to shame our country into not fighting Radical Islamists. Proof? There is none. It came from his wild imagination.
  15. I think lots of Americans take patriotism to a craycray level. I also think maybe he wanted attention.
  16. 2 offense 2 defense. Your comparison doesn't work. Yes, lots of diversity in the choices for captains. Or not. What is this?? What do you even know about these players? How do you know how diverse they are? 2 offense 2 defense. Your comparison doesn't work. Connor Cook wasn't a captain as a senior either Because he wasn't liked by his teammates. Hopefully this lights a fire under Tommy's butt. Pay more attention. Tommy had a lot of votes.
  17. Ernie Chambers has said quite a few pro-segregation things. Maybe 3% of Blacks at the time liked segregation.
  18. Not sure I can agree with that seeing as this would be a crew of people he hired and his current hired handlers haven't been able to do anything about his behavior. Yeah, I mean, who would those babysitters be? The best people, of course. Really, really tremendous, great people. The best babysitters. And they'd be hot. Total babes. 10's. But not as hot as Ivanka, who, by the way is just a great woman, and most people would have sex with her even if she was their daughter.
  19. I guess a Trump presidency would be alright as long as he has babysitters monitoring him at all times.
  20. C'mon Nebraska parents! You have to start filling the gene pool with better stuff! I always get irate when people complain about when a HS coach doesn't win enough. They can't recruit (sort of) so they are limited to what genetics has given them. Well most coaches anyways. They're also limited to the amount of funding their high school gym gets. And I believe I read somewhere that some of the top high schools even have nutritionists.
  21. I was surprised too but I think we just feel that way because Frazier was so important. But, 2.36% if his recruits were from Florida. If you delete Nebraska that's about 5% from Florida and there are 48 other states. It was still in his top 10 states.
  22. I made some recruiting maps. Look at them. I need attention!

  23. I can explain it. Black people die when a Democrat is president. When Trump becomes president, no Black people will die. I'm sure Dwyane Wade loves that Trump is talking about his family and spelling his name wrong.
  24. Where we should be recruiting our players from, and how our past coaches were doing it wrong/right, is argued about a lot, so I decided to make these. These are not really of recruits, they're of the rosters. The way I assigned players was by the first time they showed up on the roster. If a player was on the roster in 2007 and 2008 (like Suh) he was assigned to Callahan. If a player is on Osborne's roster from 1992-1996, they're only included once. One small issue with this is I think someone on the scout team (like when they were huge in the 90s) who moves onto the roster might be assigned to the wrong coach, but I think this would be rare, and they're probably almost always from Nebraska. One other small thing is we've had about 8 players from different countries and some from Hawaii that obviously don't show up on here, so the percentages don't quite add up to 100. (Solich had 3 Hawaiian players, Osborne 1, Callahan 1, and Callahan had 1 Alaskan). I only included the players from 1990 on. If I have more time in the future and people like these I can go back further and see how Osborne's recruiting changed over the years. Another thing I might do is make a Nebraska map showing player recruiting by county. The numbers are the percentages in decimal form. So for the Osborne map, 53.08% of the players are from Nebraska, 5.62% are from California, and so on. Lastly, the color scales are exactly the same for each coach. So if 3% of Solich's roster was from Idaho and 3% of Pelini's roster was from Idaho, they'd be the same shade of red. (except with Nebraska which is always bright red).
