  1. Big 10 went undefeated this week if we pretend that Rutgers and Maryland aren't in the conference (I think? - too lazy to look)
  2. I got a warning level raised for saying effing Maher a couple years back and have been told that the situation is similar to posting and how it should be the post not the poster, hate on their play, not them directly. Then the board rules should be edited, and I would not want to be a moderator going through an official game thread thinking about that rule.
  3. No, seeing as there's nothing wrong with sucking as long as it's consentual. Stinking is a worse diss.
  4. I'm reporting you. For real. Like stop, dude. He's 1 of 2 with an interception. It's okay to tell the truth. That's not how the forum rules work. Freedom of speech without being a douche. There's no such thing as freedom of speech on a forum. The owners of the forum make the rules, period. That being said, here are the forum rules and I don't see where any of the rules would apply to not saying a player sucks. It's not "nice" but it's not against the rules unless I'm missing something. http://www.huskerboard.com/index.php?/page/huskerboard_rules.html
  5. If it is, it's a stupid rule. It's not a personal attack. It directly relates to their on field performance.

Show me this rule you're speaking of that the poster broke. If a rule was broken on that post, then the ***Official*** game topics would have to be banned for eternity.

  8. Boise State @ BYU 7-7, 11 minutes in 2nd quarter. It would be nice for morale if BYU wins.
  9. Daniel Toast??Yeah because he's getting burnt like toast all night I prefer to have my toast a dark golden brown with a slab of butter to compliment it. The butter complements the toast to make the toast taste better than it would by itself. It doesn't compliment the toast by telling the toast how awesome it is.
  10. When did someone post they were happy a bunch of Christians were killed?
  11. Jck missed 2 field goals earlier too. One of them 39 yards.
  12. They may has well have just thrown it and thrown that interception for how it turned out.
  13. I'm worried they were too conservative that drive. But I guess that's better than throwing an INT.
  14. UCLA barely beat Rice the week before we played them.
  15. A lot of those players were only good compared to their teammates, so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here.
  16. I would say this is wrong. The average Nebraska fan might have that impression because many of us had no idea who he was. Not that name stature is very important. As the HC of Nebraska now, everyone will know who he is. This would be true even had the hire been, say, our version of Derek "Who???" Dooley. I live in Louisiana. Just for kicks, today I asked 10 of my coworkers, all of whom are avid football fans, if they knew who Mike Riley is. The number who knew? Zero. I'll stick with my opinion. If they don't know the name of the coach of Nebraska and they are avid college football fans....that just shows how far Nebraska has fallen. Not really. I'm not arguing that Nebraska hasn't fallen far, but Riley has only coached one game. The only reason I know the Michigan coach's name is because everyone knows who Harbaugh is. Being a known coach doesn't make the hire good. And non Pac-10 people for the most part don't know who Riley is. That doesn't mean he's a bad hire. Also, I don't know the name of Oregon's coach off the top of my head.
  17. I try to ignore Trump's existence, but seriously, f#*k this a-hole. Women who aren't related to him or who aren't f#*kable (in his eyes) are worthless. There is no doubt in my mind this is how he feels. He can pretend he respects women by namedropping Omarosa but I don't buy it. About Fiorina: I'm guessing the craziest of Trump supporters will just say Rolling Stone made these quotes up.
  18. True......well, unless statistics and his career record don't count as evidence. They don't. What Pelini did in past years have zero bearing on what he would do the next year. If we could bank on that, Solich would have never gone 7-7. That's... not true at all. But I don't think Pelini would've beaten BYU. It is true for a coaching record. Which is what I am talking about. No, it's not. Previous seasons' records are not independent from the current season. That's not to say it's a perfect predictor with 0 other variables involved.

  20. Probably a silly question but what is our record of getting a QB to recommit after decommitting? If you count Solich talking Crouch into not quitting, I would say 1 for 1 Uh, I don't have that great of a memory but didn't both Gabberts and Freeman decommit from us? So that would be 1/4 off the top of my head. And I believe Osborne really wanted McNabb but I dunno if he committed. Anyway, it doesn't matter how often it has happened. The sample size is tiny. 4skers89 asked how many QB's committed to us, de-committed, and then re-committed to us, I believe He asked what our "record" is (very vague) and you replied 1 of 1. That's a ratio. If we're gonna deal with ratios we have to deal with people who did and didn't recommit. If we're just gonna say how many times it has happened, then it has happened 1 time. But that's pretty uninformative.
  21. Wow, you are really going on record stating that Obama has not put in place policies that have moved the needle? For starters, Obamacare, even though I know it's not the liberal utopia of universal health care, is a shift to the left in that it involves government mandates in the health insurance arena. It also was passed without any realistic plan on how the new entitlement would be funded, and thus will continue to add to the national debt. Obama's foreign policy is definitely not a center-right one where the US leads the world on many key issues. He's signed executive action favoring environmentalists, while also blocking the passage of the Keystone pipeline. He's underfunded our nations Vets while expanding use of food stamps and welfare in general. Food stamp usage is at an all time high under Obama. Also, the number of Americans that have fallen out of the labor force and are more likely to be dependent upon the government has reached an all-time high. A center-right nation is one aspiring for limited government, and just about every action Obama has taken has been just the opposite. Food stamps usage is at an all time high because of the economy, not because Obama changed anything about how it's funded. Obama changed nothing about it (as far as I know - I'm not 100% sure on this). What I do know is that it has received cuts (to how much each family can receive). So blame him for the economy, if you want. As far as the pipeline, I just fail to see why it's considered conservative to do something that risks damaging the environment. I know that it is considered conservative, but it makes no sense to me. The risks outweigh the advantage. The oil's going to China, FFS. I wouldn't be surprised if I learned that the money involved in trying to get it implemented actually comes straight from China.
