Met him at a Red White game in either 03 or 04. My friends dad knew Scott so we got to meet him at halftime and get his autograph. I was 11 at the time so I don't really remember a whole lot about it other than he stuck around to chat for a solid 15 minutes. I don't have the shirt anymore unfortunately I wore the autographed t-shirt so much it just slowly faded and could hardly see it anymore. I'm an idiot I know!
IF he ends up playing on the offensive side of the ball and is the short yardage back, he would be a great decoy at times. 3rd and 1/4th and short play action would be genius.
No what happened was he started to play against good defenses that knew how to defend the zone read. and they figured out that he can't throw to save his life when he has pressure coming at him.
This lady is a joke. She writes a huge article on how she wants to see OU beat the crap out of the Huskers and how all the big 12 is behind the Sooners, what a loser. And then she says how we were never impressive to the conference. If we weren't "impressive" then why the heck is she wasting her time writing that article? hahahhahhahahaha IDIDOT!
Offensively I think OU has the advantage. We aren't consistent at all when it comes to playing offense. But if we play offensively like we have shown we can do some work. And then on defense, you know who has the advantage.
On the back of the ticket does it say something a long the lines of....."Due to Nebraska leaving the Big 12 we have decided it would not be fit to put them on the ticket."
We HAVE to start Cody Green at QB. I do not care if Martinez is even up to %85. If we play Martinez we are going to try the zone read crap that Oklahoma will just shut down in a heart beat. I also think a lot of the players don't really care for Martinez as a person either. I do not want to see us lose this game because of Martinez's attitude. I know Green didn't have a spectacular game by any means, but he got the job done and that is all we are asking for at this point. I believe he has a lot more confidence in himself after playing against Colorado and I feel as if the team and coaches do too. Cody Green is a hell of an athlete and there is a reason why he is playing Div. 1 football. I expect him to get the job done Saturday night.
