  1. Not commited? So I take it that he won't be coming to the mid-west?
  2. Yeah, they missed a ton of those in their tenure.
  3. Google is your friend. Took me a whole 5 seconds to find it. http://printsubscriber.huskersillustrated.com/
  4. Yeah but Texas was 6-7 last year and 8-5 the year before. So that really isn't saying much. BYU was 8-5 last year which their two biggest wins were Texas and Houston. The rest never made it past the 5-7 mark. I also believe they lost their QB this year, so unless they will make remarkable strides in the off season, I am not all that scared of them being the 1st game. Hell, I would be more scared of Southern Miss.
  5. right over the head. Yeah its been a rough week at work and that is making real slow on my thinking process. Oh well, you got me.
  6. That chick looks very homely. Titin looks like sports wear that should be armored gear. Wonder what the benefit of them are.
  7. If we were going to BYU, then we would be getting paid. Since they are coming up, we pay. I could have sworn that I read an article when Boise was wanting the million, that it stated that we only give a million to the lower programs and give around 500k to 700k to D1 schools.
  8. Thanks, I was trying to find the #1 page box so I could click it and see what I missed. Guess I will be left wondering.
  9. Really excited about this hire. Have been fighting the tweeting thing since it came on board and in the last couple of weeks I have actually be tempted on getting it. Maybe a coin toss.
  10. A little early. It's winter. Few people ride bikes right now. Hey. I rode mine today. It is 70 degrees here though.
  11. I'm wondering if Riley knows how much we actually look forward to our spring game compared to OSU.
  12. We do kind of "know" something. Not we personally, but there were multiple radio and media personalities who watched practice and said Stanton had a long ways to go. They said it wasn't eve close really. Armstrong, Fyfe, then Stanton. Of course, if Riley and Langsdorf come in and evaluate Stanton as the better guy for the job, or Fyfe or Armstorong, I'm gonna be on board till' I see enough to think otherwise. I like Stantons throwing ability actually. I thought he had some nice throws in that spring game for sure. I know, I know, spring game.......still, he demonstrated some nice touch on the ball. I trust this next staff as better talent evaluators, so we will surely see. Not soon enough, but we shall see. Thank you. This is a much better answer then the "No there doesn't" answer I received.
  13. Michigan just hired an NFL OC to be a position coach. They also hired a former USC associate head coach as a position coach. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2015/01/16/michigan-announces-2-more-assistant-football-coaches/21884403/ I would have liked to have seen more big name hires at Nebraska, but hopefully this staff will be good. I am slightly worried about Banker. Jedd Fisch is getting hired as the OC. I'm not sure what the big deal is there. The Jaguars were a goddamn dumpster fire on offense. And 2 years with the University of Miami, which they weren't all that talented then either.
  14. I would say that Stanton didn't get much PT because he was 3rd on the depth chart. I understand he was third, but why is he 3rd? Mental? Not knowing the play book? etc? For someone that was ranked high in the camps and then to be lower then the walk-on, there has to be something going on with him. No there doesn't. So your saying that Stanton having nothing at all wrong with him is worse then Fyfe having mental problems from the meeting room to the practice field. Gotcha
  15. In all fairness, Sandusky hadn't been their DC in quite a while. While I understand this, I believe he was doing it while he was working there.

  17. I have season tickets and live in Oklahoma City. Its a 6 1/2 hr drive and if the game is a night game, my weekend is shot. For driving wise, I would rather have an 11am game so I can atleast have Sunday to enjoy. But back on topic, I wish Joe would have talked about Stanton and why he wasn't seeing any playing time last year.
  18. I was wondering why this was back on topic. I was thinking "no way he would be our WR coach".
  19. Everyone I am talking to here in Oklahoma is hoping he does a lateral move to the Sooners. I am laughing at them everytime they bring his name up.
  20. Here is an article about Bray talking about it. http://nebraska.247sports.com/Bolt/Bray-talks-Blackshirt-tradition-34577263?utm_source=newarticle&utm_medium=scrollback&utm_campaign=infinitescroll
  21. LOL, I was going to quote a member but after scrolling down, I would have had to quote many members in this tread. If yelling is so bad, then tell me exactly how bad Alabama is doing this and the last 4 years. Man up and do the job your getting paid to do or get yourself an apron and get into the kitchen where you belong.
  22. Riley said that when he was first hired. It apparently hasn't happened yet. Interesting. Why is that so interesting? They both lead busy lives, and with the holidays it's even more hectic. Sounds like they are playing phone tag. It's been over a month. If you want to get in touch with someone, and they want you to be in touch with them.......well, you know........ I guess i fail to see the big deal. Osborne's gone. He hasnt been AD for over two years now. Why would our new coach have to "talk" with him. I just think there's way too much being led into this. Now if Riley wants to talk to Osborne and get to know him, great, but that can be done anytime, and that's if the feeling is even reciprocated. And if it isnt, well who cares. At some point we're gonna have to get over this notion that TO needs to be consulted everyime Eichorst wants to blow his nose or a coach wants to take a dump. Frankly, it's just not his program anymore. And until we come to that realization, this program will never get back over the hump. Are you kidding? When Oz dies, they will hire a medium as a staff member just so that they can get his opinion.
  23. Wow, did Iowa have the same tackling coach as us?
