  1. Relatively minor but important distinction. Sitting is allowed for those about to pass out and halftime.
  2. Just means the students will have to take a nap before they begin pregame... at 11pm Friday.
  3. Even when it falls within the guidelines, a medical redshirt is tough to get. But here's the part that would exclude Crick: ( c ) the injury or illness must occur when the student-athlete has not participated in more than two contests/dates of competition or 20% of the institution’s scheduled contests/dates of competition in his/her sport (whichever number is greater.)
  4. Cassidy seems to have the best understanding and is good at getting people in position... he just doesn't lay the hit when it comes to his own duties.
  5. Actually Dirk invited Bo to go noodling. I heard from Bo's painter that he left with a bow and arrow.
  6. Spent my funds on the Wisconsin flight (game ticket didn't help either). If I could afford the trip up from OKC I guarantee I'd find a way out of work and join my Neb and MN friends that'll be decked in red. =) I hope to see Huskernation out in force and a stadium of red! GBR
  7. Bruised shoulder to the extent that he can't raise an arm by the end of a game... and still frequently being double teamed. And who knows if there's any leftover concussion effects (which the docs would have kept him out if there were signs). Playing far better than can be expected of any player in that position.
  8. Someone correct me if I'm wrong instead, but I read that as he is a husker fan and giving thanks for how they (and others) were treated. =)
  9. I was in mid to upper section 2 and heard boos for the interception from from what sounded like my general area and into the northeastern part of the north endzone. Was personally annoyed, but doubt more than the 5 people could hear me say there's no reason to boo cuz they were still trying. And yes, the place erupted when Suh was spotted and then again announced. I believe most of the halftime boo's were actually SUUUUUHs but could be wrong.
  10. While I enjoy our band and certainly don't think they're awful... they don't seem to be especially amazing either. I have no clue what they can change, but there just doesn't seem to be anything unique about the experience. Wisconsin sent portions of their band to play at various entrances and in front of sections in the second half to keep the entertainment going, which I thought was pretty cool and a nice change.
  11. Wisconsin runs a more advanced wave. Though that's largely helped by the massive student section they have being absolutely pumped. It was about 4/5 full about 20mins until kickoff and their blue-hairs were discussing how impressed they were with the student section's early arrival. And yes, we can find enough tickets for it to be noticeable in Camp Randall.
  12. The quality of this thread shall grant you one... Boot to the head.
  13. I'm praying we've got a magic plan like we did against Mizzou last year.
  14. Will be there from OK and adding 2 friends from Chicago.
  15. Can we get Carnes to teach TMart how to pitch the option? But to give them credit, Wyoming knew it was over.
  16. Osborne seemed to have problems with wrapping up and finishing tackles last year... and I recall seeing the same in the Chattanooga game. I believe I saw him go for hits against bigger guys without even trying to wrap up... and so they kept on going down the field once they bounced off him. He's got some good skills and technique, but I haven't been impressed by his tacking at all. But I'm definitely disappointed if he's taken the demotion poorly. He needs to suck it up and do anything he can to prove himself in practice.
  17. Refs... for not reading this year's kick/punt return section of the rulebook. Not a proud win by any means. As for players, gotta go with Burkhead and the O-lines improvement. Still got work to do on the Oline but definitely appeared to do better as a whole.
  18. Pat Hill appreciates our crowd Always great to see Huskernation giving and getting the appreciation deserved of a good game. Also, very glad to hear Fresno St. was treated well - better than their own fans during week 1. Keep it up! As we like to say "Through these doors..."
  19. Sadly I'm still looking. Would love 3 (or 4) together at up to $250/ticket. I'm not reselling the 3 tickets as I really plan to go. Please help a fellow Husker fan and alum out! I'm in Oklahoma but will definitely find a way for it to work! Can get family or friends to pickup in southeast Nebraska or the Chicago area.
  20. Do you just have cox basic cable? We have cox advanced and we have like 3 or 4 BTN channels. If you upgrade you'll get to watch Huskers all season. It's not an issue of upgrading tiers. Cox in Oklahoma does not have BTN. When I've called and sent an email requesting it they sound like they have absolutely no interest in adding it to their list around here.
  21. But Maths is the challenge!
  22. The Oklahoma Cornhusker Club goes to Thunder Alley Pub... but last I knew it's not an actual bar nor sells anything and is more like a banquet hall so you won't find me there. http://www.okhuskers.com/social.htm However... if you go to an actual bar that will have the game (would have to have ATT or satellite) on the south side of OKC-Norman corridor I would join. But good luck since any bar can probably make more off OU fans; unless the place is run by a Husker fan.
