  1. If I were them, I would be loving every second of this. I'd hope they don't have the same 'the sky is falling' mentality as the rest of Husker Nation.
  2. Who seriously thinks Carnes gets the nod 2nd half? I'm in favor.
  3. We're down! Oh my God, the sky is falling. We suck big black... It'll be okay, guys. (:
  4. WHALEY!! I knew he was still alive! Too bad he got burned...
  5. How do you get a delay of game... on the first play of the game?!
  6. Can we hurry up? I want to see Martin unleashed...
  7. EZ-E... is that you?! You're alive and on Huskerboard?!?
  8. With the current state of affairs... I will assume that is a good thing?
  9. I had a Badger fan walk up to me, pull the cigarette out of his mouth, and blow the smoke in my face...
  10. I thought I heard that Cooper was going to be leaving the football team to play exclusively baseball? Or was that the other way around...
  11. Speaking of Jackson... any idea why he's on the Huskers roster with a number and everything?
  12. While on the topic of Dennard, did anyone else feel that that late hit call Dennard got was bulls**t? It wasn't as if the receiver was out of bounds and just standing there. The receiver was in midair with, as far as Dennard knew, a chance at catching the ball. Any other opinions?
  13. I'm one of those people who isn't terribly worried. One of my main reasons is our defense. Every FREAKS about our "pathetic" defense.... I'm sorry, but am I the only one who noticed that our three All-Americans haven't even been on the field at the same time yet this season?! The secondary was much improved last night with Dennard. Sure, we gave up some big plays, but as we've said before, the kids are young. It's bound to happen some time, and I'd rather it be versus Wyoming and Fresno State than in conference play. Big plays in the secondary come from no pressure up front or with a poor secondary. We've seen both of those situations thus far. Early in the year, we managed to get pressure on the QB with our line, but with a bunch of freshman and sophomores running around behind them, it clearly didn't work. Last night, with Dennard back, we were able to shut down many of the options down field, but with our line not getting pressure, the QB was bound to find something with the amount of time he repeatedly had. With Crick, David, and Dennard all out there next week, I just don't see this "the sky is falling" attitude a lot of us seem to be finding?
  14. Assuming we get him on a visit, someone needs to 'accidentally' drop Amukamara's number in his lap. Top of the line talent in Arizona, wanted to stay on offense... Got to NE, and we all know what happens from there. Show this boy what the Pelini's can do with talent!
  15. Don't know if you're serious...
  16. No, I'm saying a defensive facemask, but I see where you're coming from as well.
  17. Another point here... when I was watching this live, how the hell was this not a facemask?
  18. While we're talking it on it... after replaying some of his returns, the kid has an outstanding burst and really knows how to find/make a seam when there isn't one there. But his flat out speed is a little slower than desired? It always seems that as soon as he gets some room to run, the defenders start catching up... Any opinions?
  19. Our defense is playing incredibly mediocre, and will not cut it come conference play. What happened to the Blackshirts?! Discuss.
  20. Two things... where are the Huskie fans? And where are the people who doubted our offense?!
  21. +1. Once we use all 14 games before it to practice one particular play each...
