  5. We're getting there! 59-41 Michigan. Someone should write a script for a Mac...
  6. Umm... make that 6 million? We're down 66-34.
  7. Well boys, it's July 1st. Anyone figure anything out with Dish Network?
  8. Yeah I copied it before they deleted it, he posted it multiple times. Modified for Nebraska of course. Save it as a .vbs file in windows and click it. I'm not certain it will work though, but it won't harm your computer. You won't be able to see it running, it'll just pop up alert windows at you. for x = 1 to 10000 url = "http://poll.espn.go.com/cgi/sz/poll.dll?goTo=http://espn.go.com/poll&domain=.go.com&questions=1&id=116034&qid=115945&service=SZ&count_0=2&expected_0=1&vote_0=403215" set xmlhttp = CreateObject("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP") xmlhttp.open "GET", url, false xmlhttp.send "" 'msgbox LEFT(xmlhttp.responseText,200) set xmlhttp = nothing next msgbox "DONE" Click what? I'm not anywhere close to a programmer, but I'm taking some interest in helping Nebraska out here.
  9. But he's not smiling or waving his arms around like he's happy. So he clearly wishes he were somewhere else. Either by himself or with a select few freshman he can trick into liking him. Notice how he's standing in the back, as if he's trying to hide. A real leader would be unselfish and stand in front, close to the camera, and give a giant flex. Seriously???? Kyler Reed isn't even smiling...I guess he's not enjoying the cook out. The big guy laying on the ground I think thats Jay Guy? not sure but he's not smiling he must not be having fun. Just because people aren't smiling doesn't mean that they're not having fun. I know several people who don't like to smile for pictures because they prefer not to, doesn't mean that they're not having fun. All of this Martinez crap is getting old No, not seriously. Saunders was joking. I sure hope he was....he must of forgot the sarcasim icon Maybe you missed the last 20 sarcastic posts all making fun of Taylor... It was kind of assumed everyone knew it was sarcasm?
  10. Why does Lee Summit sound familiar... ?
  11. This should probably be in the video games section, but... either way, I find some of our rankings ridiculously low. I'll never know why Dennard and David are as low as they are.
  12. Oh God, PLEASE don't start this now...
  13. I realize we can't get every recruit, but... in all honestly, if we lose Andrus to Texas, I just might cry.
  14. Stalker... Also, when did we get lakes in Nebraska? There's nothing to do in this state right? This is an obvious photoshop. Fremont State Lakes! Haha, the Blackshirts are out there all the time. I never knew it until about 2 years ago this time when I went to dinner at a friends house. We were sitting on the deck overlooking the lake... and Suh comes flying by on a tube!
  15. The article says McMullen left the door open for Notre Dame and Oregon... can someone explain?
  16. Wow. Could not disagree with you more. You're talking about one of the most physically gifted and aggressive DTs of all time. Not just recently, not just at Nebraska, but for any team, anywhere, ever. And you're saying that not just one, but two of our current players are "just as special?" Crick has had some pretty good games in his tenure. But where are you getting the impression that Steinkuhler is even remotely as good as Suh? Which game(s) can you point to where Steinkuhler has had a significant impact? I can point to several where he's had little to no impact at all. I've talked a lot of football in my day. More than is probably good for me. I've heard some bold predictions. But this.... this is madness. Your taking the "special" comment out of context. I don't mean that they will be in the Heisman running(although that'd be great!), I am say that, at the very least, they will be as productive and dominant at the college level as Suh/Crick. They will take as many double teams when it's all said and done. And that my friend is "special". Suh wasn't considered one of the best of all-time until his senior year. Up to that point, he was by all accounts very average, with some potential. . . The same can be said of Crick and Stein at this point, but I regress, that is not the point I am trying to make. Steinkuhler had a more productive sophomore year than what I saw Suh had his Sophomore campaign. . . . No Stein didn't dominate any games, but either did Suh, until his Senior year. . . . And I can see that being under the Pelini brothers for five years will probably pay off bigger for Stein in the end, than it did for Suh. I don't see how that is that hard to understand or expect. Crick and Suh's junior campaigns were fairly similar statistically. . . Crick is not Suh, but Crick WILL have to be accounted for just as much as Suh was his senior year(the same can probably be said of Stein down the road), that is "domination" to me. With as deep as our D --esp. the DL-- is, it should be easier for Crick/Stein to control any given game than Suh/Crick. It is crazy to expect anything less, imo. Again, you're saying that just because they've spent more time with the Pelini brothers that should make them more dominant than Suh. And I'm sorry, but that's just crazy!
  17. I get it on channle 610 on direct tv and it was awesome to see rudd at #9 What package do you get on Direct TV that you have BTN already? 610 isn't even an option for me... it skips from 600 to 625. :/
  18. Sorry, but the "more dominant than Suh & Crick" bit is a little too strong a koolaid for me.
  19. His "Top 3" on defense doesn't include Dennard.... That's just wrong.
  20. WE're up by 2 percent... This isn't looking good. :/
  21. this is in the fall we will be taping a show highlighting the fan experience at several of the stadiums the one at memorial stadium will tape during the ohio state game, and this top ten will be played during that show You don't think it might be a better idea to say, I don't know, approach the athletic department about this, or at least ask more than one husker messageboard about it? Seems kind of silly to me; "Here's our top 10 plays in memorial stadium history as decided by a bunch of geeks on the internet with no known pedigree in a very unofficial manner!" dude we are the fans we do have an opinion (the most important opinion in fact) about the greatest plays etc. so i dont see anything at all wrong about this. i also dont understand why you would question the guy, he was nice enough to come on here and ask for our opinion and if ya dont want to give yours then why even comment on it? guys not taking anything from ya but your opinion, lighten up! you sound like my darn ex girlfriend always trying to correct people and make them do things your way! As Bo Burnham would say... My girlfriend had this super weird fetish. She loved to dress up like herself, and then act like a TOTAL b***h...
  22. No one has said it quite yet, so I thought I'd bring it up. Does the leaving of Terell Pryor drastically change the outcome or improve our odds in the Ohio State game? Sure, he's 1 out of 22 starting players, but...
  23. I strongly disagree with this. Remember "Wear Red. Be Loud. Beat Texas." Remember the last three meetings against them? That was our marquee game of the year despite Texas not being a good team, and we blew it big time. There are reasons teams lose football games, and there are reasons teams win football games. What you're saying, seriously, makes absolutely no sense. I can't stand when one person accuses another of making excuses. There's a reason for everything. Your fans made a ton of excuses after we embarrassed you in your own stadium. You've never, ever made an excuse for losing a football game? Because there's no way you can say what you just said unless that's true, which is completely false and you know it. Is the light bulb on in there buddy? Washington got better throughout the season, Nebraska got injured and got worse. Washington was happy to get to the Holiday Bowl, Nebraska was upset they floundered the season no matter what you read in the papers. Oh yeah, and as far as those "illegal tactics". Everything Nebraska does pushes the limit on defense. We go right up to where a referee might call it but doesn't. And we have a Top 10 defense to show for it. Your "illegal tactics" free defense was ranked what, again? I might be wrong, but I remember "Wear red. Be loud. Beat Texas" was more for the fans. And, IMO (not saying your wrong) but the team came out that game and played flat football. No emption, no motivation again just my opinion. I remember an article in Sports Illustrated before last season on the college football preview... IMO (not saying your wrong either) I think they came out over emotional. The article talked about how from the start of spring practice the locker room was covered in signs with one number- "1". That one second really upset them (Obviously...) and think we came out more concerned with revenge than playing football. We just completely lost focus of what we were trying to do.
  24. Technically, this is Memorial Stadium...
