Matt Ryan played well for most of the game, but fumbled in the 4th quarter, giving NE the short field, and took a terrible sack which knocked ATL out of FG range. I will say that both of those plays probably should have been run plays though.
Wasn't play calls but execution. Don't hold and you still get a FG. Safe pass call and you screw it up. That is not on the coach. Lot of could've/should've but NE took the game from them
If they call run plays up 28-20, there is no chance for a sack and lesser chance for a holding penalty, and it forces NE to call timeouts. All plays require execution, but it's up to the coaches to put them in the best position to execute and succeed.
