I wonder why they didn't use the script huskers logo on the front of the helmet.

I wouldn't be shocked to see the use of the "new"/old secondary logo for the alternates. Maybe even a script Huskers helmet. I'm patiently waiting for some new script merchandise as well.

I still want something like this. It's a pretty terrible photoshop job -- but a pearl tri coat white helmet w/ grey facemask and somewhat chrome decals. Then 1971 style varsity stripes and clean white pants. Throw in some black in there for good measure -- essentially do what Ohio State did for a few years -- modernize a classic look.

One of these helmets please. I would also like to see us go away from white and start using cream. Our Scarlet & Cream Basketball alternates looked awesome. It would help us get away from every NC St/Wisconsin.

That stuff is a lifesaver. My knuckles tend to crack & bleed like crazy right around this time every year -- a few nights slathering that stuff on before bed and they're back to new.

The key to getting bigger deals isn't football, it's basketball. As a billboard, which is exactly what teams are for these companies, we have a pretty big audience for 1/3 of the year. The schools that are getting the big bucks have a big audience for multiple seasons. Kansas, for example, has a bigger contract than us. We need to have a solid year in football and MBB needs to get back to being the exciting tournament team.

I guess it's not lighting. The Video Board was just lit up purple. I'm sure you could make it happen with lights though.

Fund putting lights in the stadium to make the stadium glow red at night. Not during games obviously. LSU does it with purple.

The four screens are needed for people who cannot see the big screen. If you are far up enough in the North, or under overhangs you cannot see the big screen. The screens are needed. That's why he said make another big screen in South Stadium.

Agreed, the laces look stupid over the N. Honestly I liked it. Plus the laces was inside and outside stadium view perched on top of "Nebraska National Championships" sign (knapplc #3 picture). Lit up or not ? And "N" sign ? Just curious. I thought I saw that they're mirroring the N on the outside of North Stadium as well, so National Champions thing won't look like it does now. I may be wrong though. And yes they light up. *Edit* This is the quote from the website. If it was a rivalry trophy sort of deal that would be awesome. Get it set up between the two schools. If we're just doing it on our own to show dominance then we better be dominant. Let's make that 5-2 record 10-2 or 20-2, then we can start talking. I fully expect us to do that.

Bingo I guess we have different definitions of owning teams. Anyway, I still want to see a 1970's throwback with the shoulder stripes.
