Three things: 1. Pelini clearly didn't have what it took to do this job. So, I applaud Eichorst's decision to fire him. 2. Says a lot about a man trying to tear down, and publicly humiliate a university/fan base that supported him and put MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in his pocket. 3. This place isn't a "b***h" Bo.... However, your actions suggest that you are one....

I think it's entirely possible that he has been notified of Brown staying on with the new coaching staff.... I'm sure the two CB's from Colorado knew of Warren staying long before the rest of us did...

Did Nebraksa previously have a "Director of Player Personnel?" Or was that Jamrog? Are any of these three administrative people from OSU filling new positions at NU? Jamrog is technically "Assistant Athletic Director for Football." The rest of the support staff can be found here. Brian Crist has been the Director of Player Personnel. I am really liking this staff that Riley is bringing from OSUw. Gunderson has been on twitter pimping Nebraska and helping with recruiting. I don't think I ever seen Crist do that while he was here. To me, It shows that this staff takes recruiting seriously and has fun doing it at the same time. They definitely seem to understand that social media can be an incredible asset to a coaching staff. If you want to connect with these kids, that is how you do it.

He is a december grad. Probably freaking out about a coaching change this late. Same school as Mirko. So all of a sudden LB has become quite the priorityIt was important for this class, but with the loss of Love and the potential of a 3-4 defense, it definitley becomes critical. Glad to see Riley has a vision of where this team needs to improve. It's impossible to know at this point if Riley will be successful, but I think we can be sure that knows what he wants/needs to build a team....

I just hope Riley is aware (and I'm sure he is) that he can get into the homes of more talented players now.... There is nothing wrong with a 3 star safety. We have them on the team now That's not what I meant, especially on this individual player. I just think it's fair to say that he can get in on players being the head coach at Nebraska, that he couldn't get at Oregon St..... I just don't want to see half of the OSU recruiting class coming to Lincoln..

Hard to imagine he would follow Riley, and take a step down to position coach. If so the guy has no ego..... He'd probably be making more $. And the alternative is probably getting fired by Oregon State and not knowing what his future is. I thought I saw somewhere he was making 500K as DC at OSU.... I wouldn't think he is going to get that to coach a position here.

Who knows. I do find it hard to believe that Banker would join Riley for anything less than DC since that's what he's done for Riley for so long.... A step down would seem unlikely.
