Have you heard some of the shows on ESPN. They go off topic quite a bit, especially on my favorite show, Highly Questionable.... Anyways, competition with be good for both networks. It will force Fox to go to great lengths to top ESPN, and it will (hopefully) allow ESPN to quit being lazy with their programming....

All things considered (the sport, money involved, comparison to similar venues for said sport, etc.) this has to be one of the most impressive facilities in the country. Period....

I can't imagine what must be on his father's mind right now. Clearly, the kid was highly thought of within the community given the emotional reactions in the crowd....

I would imagine there is a reason you haven't heard anything from Dirk (outside of Mad Chatter) about Husker football all camp long....

I like a mixed bag of Kool-Aid and reality. Having said that, I just want their honest opinions (especially McKewon's) about what they see in the program. My biggest problem with Dirk is that he goes out of his way to be confrontational and negative. There are A LOT of positive things happening within the Husker Football program, but Dirk fails to ever acknowledge them.... There are only a handful of local journalists that I value their opinions.... -McKewon (the best by far). -Sipple. - Christopherson. -Shatel.

I honestly forgot he was still here. Never hear him brought up. Has he played at all? He kind of reminds me of Cruz Barrett. He was the highly touted kid from Florida we picked up. Had offers from Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma, etc. Never did a thing. It happens, but what a disappointment. Cruz Barrett, haha, I think about that guy from time to time. He was huge and physically looked like he should be a good player, but I don't think he ever saw the field the whole time he was @ NE. I kind of wonder sometimes if guys like that, you know, face themselves in the mirror. Jay Guy appears to be another one like that, but there is slight talk of him being in the rotation this year. I haven't heard his name mentioned at all. The difference between Barrett and Guy is that Guy doesn't even look the part. Don't be surprised if Guy, Ashburn, Vestal, and Okuyemi are all shown the door after this year. They all redshirted, and will all have graduated after this season. Nebraska will have upheld their end by paying for their education, so there will be no need to have them around since they don't contribute on Saturdays....

Nickens supposedly was 'impressing' somewhat in practice last week. That's what I read anyway. I have nothing to base it on, other than what I've read in the local papers, but I have a feeling Nickens will have a huge year for us.....

That is like bragging about being the smartest person at retard camp. We played absolutely awful and lost by six on the road. Yeah, beating THAT Nebraska team on THAT night is nothing to brag about....

The open-ended statements are what both me the most. It was the "little things" that happened at Nebraska....Because of Nebraska "I hated the game". Seriously? Come on Tyler. Yeah, and he's gone from NU and now at Florida. Who cares what he says. Transfers happen for a number of reasons and at pretty much every school. We care because alot of people bashed the coaching staff when he transferred. This proves that he is a pu&&y and he wasn't willing to work for his spot. He will never succeed anywhere with that entitled mentality. Funny how he says now that he will do whatever to help the team. He's getting moved around, so he won't start their either. Grass isn't always greener. Transfer tend to flame out.... So....
