  1. And oddly theres money, weed, and cars on that helmet. If you get a new car before Saturdays game the coach gives you a car sticker. If you've received and/or smoked weed before Saturday's game the coach gives you a weed sticker. If you've received any money before Saturday's game the coach gives you a money bag sticker. If you get a new tattoo before Saturday's game the coach gives you a douchey tribal design sticker. To go with said new douchey tribal design tattoo
  2. Haha, THIS. As long as he backs up the look with solid and consistent play, I don't give a darn what his facial and cranial hair looks like! Although, this looks just terrific!
  3. Right click on the image and click "Save As". And...maybe they should have cropped it up just a touch more...Pryor's not white
  4. I watch them probably a lot more than I think I do. A lot of times too, I like to have them playing in the background while I'm cleaning or doing something else. I've watched them so many times, I have the commentary/play by play memorized haha. But yeah, I'd say monthly, or just a little less than monthly. Been thinking about getting a TV tuner card for my computer so I can save those VHS tapes onto my hard drive before they get ruined!
  5. I wouldn't necessarily say that, but he is going to miss 5 games. That'll probably have a lot to do with it. Not surprised Martinez made in the top 4(teams that is). I just have a feeling he could very well have a field day with some of these Big Ten defenses. If he stays healthy, yadda yadda yadda...you guys know the drill. Nice to see Rex get some love too! 2nd team!
  6. Seriously????? Did you think the same thing about DTray or Kody Spano. Spano never played a down, I suppose you call him a quiter too. Where did Green fail to do what he was recruited for??? He is technically 4-0 as a starter, he saved our bacon when we needed him too. I highly doubt Kellogg wouldve been able to beat ISU and CU. If he didnt give us three years of service, how is he leaving us high and dry??? Kody Spano didn't quit the team, but yes he did quit the game, because of injuries. Cody Green isn't transferring because of injuries, he's transferring for the same reasons as DTray, playing time. Sure, TECHNICALLY, he's 4-0 as a starter, but that doesn't mean he's exceeded the expectations set for him by the staff and I'm sure by himself. I'm not saying (and I know I'm not the poster you responded to) that he's a big time quitter and whiner by any means, but he hasn't exactly wowed anyone the entire time he's been here. He's has underperformed. He had flashes of great play making ability, but he is very inconsistent. Now showing that he's not willing to fight it out and try to get better as a player against what is thin but motivated competition, isn't exactly worthy of high praise for the guy.
  7. THIS. The kid showed promise in the spring game, I understand that game is just that...but he did. I was definitely impressed. But, as far as Cody Green goes, I see this both ways. He hasn't necessarily lived up to the expectations that were set for him and some even by him since he arrived. He had a good year in 2009 with limited play of course, but was never exactly spectacular. In 2010, same thing. He seems to beat with the new kids and our current starter as of right now, or at least after the spring game. So I could see why the young man would want to transfer. However, I really wish there was more of a "I'm not giving up" kind of attitude. The kid has physical tools to do great things, but I'm not sure his head is in it 100% every play every game. I'm not sure if it is a mental thing or just a lack of knowing the system, and yet we've changed systems this year so why not give it a full shot? Time is running out for the kid for sure. So like I said, I can see it both ways. I just hope he succeeds wherever he goes, in school and on the field.
  8. Well, if he can't move very well I doubt his scrambling ability does a lot of good. Beck says we're going for a "run first" offense that "we'll hang our hat on". A statue at qb probably wouldn't be a good fit is my guess. Right, but I wasn't saying to have Kerry Collins back there. But maybe, an Aaron Rodgers kind of guy wouldn't be terrible. But, I do understand with the run first orient the offense is/has gone to. Just wondering is all
  9. Do we HAVE to get a guy that can flat out move? What if he's a darn good passer, but still has scrambling ability? Would you still take a speedster/juker with average throwing ability over that? Just curious.
  10. It never hurts to have as much talent in the stable as possible. Even if a guy isn't mentally ready, or just not ready but possesses the tools to be really special...sit him, have him learn the system and get him reps in against better competition (than say high school ball). I wouldn't call it adding fodder, but adding depth in any way, always helps. Injuries can happen, we all know that.
  11. Those are some pretty slick shoes. They don't come with those mid shin high black socks do they? Also, I wonder what the kicker's shoes look like. I know they usually get the old "Predator" style Adidas made famous in the 90s by moving the laces to the outside of the shoe for soccer players.
  12. You never want to see a guy have to go through injury after injury like that, especially when they're as serious as an ACL tear...let alone on the same knee twice. But you have to tip your cap to a guy like this who WANTS to stay with the program with a feeling of almost NEEDING to. Truly a terrific individual and strong person. Team first. Best of luck to the young man indeed, and hey...maybe he'll be the best sideline signal caller in the nation
  13. Haters gonna hate. Is the entire IT department Hawktard fans as well?
  14. I'd say Gomes had a pretty darn clean hit. That is a fantastic picture.
  15. I'm with skersfan on this one. What they should do, is the offensive lines' production (or lack there of, depends on what game) for each game and each quarter. Too little is put (in articles mainly) in showing off or showing what an offensive line has done or is doing. Our offensive line was more inconsistent that it was consistent. Remember we were all over Zac Lee for taking sacks, and I'm sure many of us were on Taylor for taking sacks in the CCG, but that offensive line wasn't blocking ANYTHING. No matter how fast you are or how open a receiver is right off the bat, if you have hands and bodies within inches of you before you can even set your feet...you're not getting anywhere. I want more articles on offensive lines, in general. That'd be nice. But probably not a high demand.
  16. -I think Bo's just slouching a bit...but yes, fella has put on a few. -Mildly concerned with Martin's helmet already in mid season form, but the kid does bust his butt left and right. I'll chalk it up to the latter -Visually speaking, these guys look like beasts. Not that previous players didn't, but seriously...Cooper, WOW. But let us not forget how great Andre Jones looked in pictures and how that turned out GBR
