  1. He's gave his mom 3 shootouts now. That has to be approaching a record for one half
  2. KJJ said Darnay will be here no matter what, just not sure if it will be for his OV or UV. However, Darnay has said before he would be here for two games (Fresno and Oregon) so this really isn't any change of plans.
  3. Even if this thing about him not being able to take his OV because he hasn't taken the ACT/SAT, whats the chances he still comes on an UV? Obviously all speculation as we haven't heard any reputable source come out with this news, just wondering.
  4. There are a couple posters on RSS that have said the same as well. One eluded that Darnay hasn't taken his ACT/SAT yet and there may be a restriction on visiting if you haven't. I've never heard that rule but I guess it doesn't sound totally unbelievable. He also said DPJ is coming with his coach and a group of others. Whatever that means
  5. Are you talking about the one random guy that posted both those things on 247 with no proof and didn't even get a response from anyone?Saw that too. I do hope he is right 50% of the time in this case though haha
  6. Simply going off of this I would say Darnay is still coming. https://twitter.com/prowaydarnay/status/770694990808752128
  7. Roster should look like that going into next year. Still think we need another TE. You forgot Allen (he's still projecting to TE, right?). But if he's sitting out all of this year then slim chance he contributes next year. I think a ready to play Juco or grad transfer TE will be needed in a bad way. Yes, and I agree. A TE ready to go will more than likely be needed, escpecially in blocking situations. Hoppes is a walkon that has gotten good pub lately, apparently a good athlete, will be a Sr. next year and a good candidate for a scholly IMO. Assuming the reports on Hoppes are correct, I am not sure the staff needs to press hard for a 3rd TE at this point unless it is a stud. Im with you on this one. I really don't think we need that 3rd TE in this class. They identified who they wanted from the beginning at TE it seems and after landing them both to go along with the other youth mentioned above and the walk-ons that have worked their way onto the depth chart, I actually think we are sitting pretty well. Focus the resources on some of these big fish coming in and go from there.
  8. Commits from both teams, 1 each, after the game. Book it. I'm not even going to entertain the chance of you knowing something the rest of us don't. But that would be pretty neat
  9. Well I don't know where you go that overblown hyperbolic idea, but recruits in general do favor Nike quite a bit more. Not as of recent. There has been a huge shift especially on the west coast and in some areas of the Midwest. The whole #3stripelife thing is spreading like wild fire. Can you provide actual evidence of this other than anecdotal hype? I'm not arguing about overall market share, because there is no doubt Nike is leading that category. I was just simply stating that adidas has begun to narrow the gap again, especially with football recruits.

  11. You could have just stopped after the word run....
  12. Going off of Rivals visit lists from 09'-15', only three players finished ranked as 5 stars that visited. Owa, Peat, and Jonathan Bullard were all listed, but I'm quite sure Bullard never ended up making it here (someone correct me if I'm wrong please). Thanks for the details. Could you post the link to those lists? I'm having trouble finding them via google. I just went to the Nebraska rivals website and under the recruiting tab they have football visit lists. Then you can select the year and it shows everyone that OVd that year and the dates they were there.

  14. Because sometimes the profile gets updated before I see these, was it a promotion or demotion in the rankings. Promotion I believe.
  15. #3 overall prospect on Rivals after their latest update, #1 OL.
  16. Came in at #80 in Rivals updated Top 100.
  17. Came in at #96 in Rivals updated top 100.
  18. Scout interviewed him and he did say it came down to us and tOSU so we can put that to rest now. Doesn't really make sense as to why he wouldn't put us in the video but maybe that was a B/R decision. Still wonder if he will take visits or not. I haven't read anywhere that he has stated whether he will or not.
  19. Announced using a bleacher report video teaming up with Trevor Grimes. Both committed to tOSU. We weren't even an option within the video. Obviously no surprise, still weird that we weren't even shown. Edit: was beaten to it.
  20. Will be here for the Fresno game for his OV. Only other official visit he is sure of is to Notre Dame on October 15th. Kudos to coach Cav. His persistence has put us in position to land a game changing prospect.
  21. https://twitter.com/ProwayDarnay/status/766809236995137536 Always found it interesting that he usually puts a hashtag regarding Nebraska in his tweets. I understand that Key and Tristan are in the picture with him but I would rather him be putting that hashtag than anything else
  22. Committed to OU. Said his decision came down to UCLA, A&M, and OU.
