It was very beneficial for Moore to get a spring under his belt that helped his cause. Having the others nicked up also helped his cause. Being a very talented player obviously helps his cause. Yes you can say that having a young guy start suggests that there are line issues, but it might also be suggested that as guys heal up and the season progresses that they will end up with good depth at tackle. We shall have to see but sometimes that's what happens in these cases.

One thing I will have to get use to is that NU is Northwestern not Nebraska. I have clicked an NU link twice on the BTN thinking it was about the Huskers. I know they won't want to switch to NWU (which I think makes sense and what it should be) Since we are the new kid on the block I think we need to change it. Do you change it to UNL? UN? NebU? UNeb? NeU? UNe? NEBR?

I really wonder if Marcel is going to ever play again just based on the time he has missed. Other than that I agree that camp has been pretty good on the injury front. (fingers crossed). I'm not ready to throw in the towel as it's a long season. When you have a couple of day-to-day injuries and a return from an existing injury then it just takes a little time. I also think that players tend to get 'healed up' as two-a-days end. Funny how that works. I like the Jackson move because x-dl guys tend to have an aggressive attitude. Bill Lewis is a good example.

I have an installation date with DirectTV right before the season begins. I would of stayed with Cox, but they farted around too long. Not happy about them forcing me to get a digitial card either. I have been a customer of their's for 25 years but they don't seem to interested in keeping me. They are only interested in attracting new customers, so after 25 years of being a cox customer, bye-bye. I am locked into Dirctv for 2 years now. We will see how it goes. If prices keep escalating the way they are, I might be dropping TV in general. I can't afford it. The gouging is getting out of hand and this is discretionary spending.

Read that Justin Jackson switched to OL. Would be very physical. Sounds like they are searching a bit. Makes sense though as they have an over abundant DL. This type of move might also lend itself to the idea of allowing Klatcho to redshirt.

It will be interesting to see if they try to play a NG again. That defense caused us issues last year. After the season they said it was because Caputo was hurt. Being gullible I will take it on faith that this is true. I think the recent offense changes may have countered that too, so I think our offense will be fine. Our speed at WR will be new to them so I look for some big plays there and in special teams. On D, I think the emphasis on the 4-3 rather than the peso will help against them as their strength will be running the ball. I think Nebraska matches up well at that part of the season. Barring injuries and given that it is in Lincoln. much like HuskerLuke I think NU will win be a 38-10 score or something around there.

B12-2 is rumbling again with ESPN's comments about High School highlight packages. What part of "NO" doesn't ESPN and TU understand? A&M isn't the only one getting fed up.

I also think they would not do well in a BCS conference over time. Like others are suggesting it's a lot easier to get the kids up for 1 or 2 games. It's pretty hard to keep kids focused for an entire season. When you play 8 other cupcakes it doesn't really matter. That OU win was a case where OU didn't get focused and BSU did much like the Holiday bowl last year. They do have a good QB and are a good team. They are in a good cycle but I think that ends next year.

I wouldn't know why Notre Dame would want to join a conference that doesn't have a sustainable business model and no cultural similarity and to mention Arkansas to the b12-2 is laughable because they are happy in the SEC and already know what a pain texas is to deal with. Adding byu is a big headache because they dont play sports on Sunday.
