Sometimes I have something to say that is not worthy of starting a new thread, but it doesn’t fit in any existing thread. And it's too long for a status update. I think this thread could be the place for such ramblings. So here goes.

Starts in about 10 minutes and I think I speak for a lot of husker nation when I say that I am very anxious to hear about Pelini's health.

Legends Minnesota 3-0 Northwestern 3-0 Iowa 2-1 Michigan State 2-1 Nebraska 2-1 Michigan 2-1 Leaders Ohio State 3-0 Purdue 2-1 Illinois 2-1 Indiana 2-1 Wisconsin 2-1 Penn State 1-2 Who would've thought the standings would look like this after week 3? Minnestota and Northwestern atop the Legends? Crazy. Wisconsin and Penn State in the basement of the Leaders? Even crazier. I suspect things will sort themselves out after about a month of the B12G schedule.

I noticed this during the game--our offensive tempo was slower than it has been the past two weeks. I think it works better, at least from a defensive standpoint, than the hurry up offense. Should we continue using this tempo to spell our defense?

Also, UCLA's ranking is buoyed up by their win over us. Similarly, Michigan is pushed down by their blowout loss to Bammy. And Wisconsin is down, well, because they sh#t the bed against Oregon St. So my question is, Do we have three games left that will be tougher than UCLA? It looks to me like we do. And I'm not saying we necessarily lose those three games. But I think we will be lucky to win two out of three. Might be more likely that we take one out of the three.

Sure, we sucked last week. But the Cheeseheads sucked WAAAY worse. I mean, Oregon State? Really? What an embarrassment that Wisconsin couldn't even lick the Beavers.

Seems pricey. But I guess it's the going rate.

Arkansas State comes in to this game with the 4th best offense (as in YPG). I know some (most) of their stats came against not the best competition, but our defense leaked worse than a rusty pipe last weekend. So my question to you all is: what in your opinion would qualify as a good defensive showing against the Red Wolves? In terms of yards, big plays allowed, points allowed, et cetera. And be realistic, I know that 0 yards allowed is a good defensive showing.
