Eric the Red
I believe the loudest games or at least the most energetic games occurred before the big screens. It used to be l;oud the entire game, even between timeouts. Now everyones process is to stare at the big screen for 30 seconds after the play. I have heard that '94 Colorado was the loudest. Screens destroy the atmosphere, but they are fun to watch. Music and screens take away the organic cheering from the crowd. With that said... Texas was quite loud. Can't believe that was 4 years ago already. Quote Link to comment
bennychico11
The loudest game that I have attended was the Texas Tech game last year. It was ridiculous. Too bad LeKevin couldn't take a knee. that was pretty damn loud...I think I have some video clips somewhere from that game in the student section...particularly when we scored that supposed game clenching touchdown, it was insane. Yeah, I recall seeing the glass on the skyboxes flexing after that. My voice was gone for a week after that game. Quote Link to comment

T-BONE
Yeah I agree Texas 4 years ago was pretty loud until dear LORD threw a INT to end the game when we could have possibly won it ! Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
The crowd was off the hook when we had that huge punt return at the end of the game. Quote Link to comment

BIGREDIOWAN
Let's quit talking about it because my therapy sessions are going to be a waste of money if we keep talking about it!!!! Quote Link to comment
Bleedin_Red
I was at the 91 Washtington game and the 94 Colorado games. I think those were by far the 2 loudest games i have ever been to, hands down! Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Maybe the game as a whole was not very loud, but when Stunz hit Crouch against Oklahoma, I thought Memorial Stadium was going cave in from the noise and vibrations. Quote Link to comment
VailValleyHusker
I have to agree with TrueHuskerFan on this one. The 02' Texas game is the loudest I remember…during the Texas 3-and-out late in the forth quarter especially. I was sitting in the third or forth row on the 40 yard line compared to my usual south endzone hangout so maybe that made a difference, but that game was LOUD. Quote Link to comment
mrclean
From the start to the end the loudest has been the 91 Washington game. I didn't attend this game, but I can attest to it as I am friends with a former Husker who played in the game and he said that it was the loudest game he ever heard home or away.
