hskrfan4life
Hopefully they are weak Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Looking at their play-by-play chart. They gave up three passes over 20 yards, but they tend to give up the 6-8 yard patterns pretty regularly. I think this will benefit us a lot as we tend to do the dink and dunk passes rather than the long ball. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Hey if they give up 6 to 8 yards on passing plays that's fine with me. That means only 2 to 4 yards rushing on each 4 down stand. I think our offense could definately handle that. Then just about the time they play man and have the LB's play the pass to stop the short pass we burn 'em deep!!!!! Quote Link to comment
aweshucks
Conversely, how about NU's db's? Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
Conversely, how about NU's db's? So Benard logs off and aweshucks shows up. Interesting. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Everyone knows about our DB's and we've had this discussion about 40 times in the last 2 weeks!!!! We all know our DB's are banged up and it's no big surprise!!!! Our backups will just have to step up or they will have hell to pay for 60 minutes!!!! Quote Link to comment
zoogs
No, aweshucks has a valid point. How about NU's DBs? Inexperienced, lack of depth, somewhat untested, and...on occasion at least, short. It's a glaring weakness we shouldn't be afraid of acknowledging...even if it has been acknowledged a lot. Just sayin'. Keep in mind, we can torch their secondary all we like, but if our secondary falls open to them, it's still a lost cause. The focus should not be on how injury depleted they've become, but on how good our DBs can hold up. Quote Link to comment
TrueHuskerFan
Conversely, how about NU's db's? True, we do need to be worrying about our DB's too. I think this could turn out to be a high scoring affair. We'll see, I can't wait. Quote Link to comment
