rawhide Posted September 18, 2006 Share Posted September 18, 2006 He had an ORIF Open Reduction Internal Fixation. They made incisions around the damaged ankle bones and reduced(set) the bones in place and reinforced the bones with titanium or stainless plates and screws. Probably real similar to Herians' surgery. This could be worse being located that close to the ankle. Tougher to stabilize and strengthen that area. Good luck Powdrell GBR Quote Link to comment
