dustinl15
Just seen the USA Today Poll, Nebraska is ranked 20th. I am happy with the rank. USA Today Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
Well there it is...I KNEW we wouldn't move down too much. Some people with their ____, ____, ____, ____, and ____ will all move in front of us...you worried too much. Quote Link to comment
TrueHuskerFan
I think that's fair, but we could beat a lot of the teams that are ahead of us... Quote Link to comment

DJR313
Let's wait till the real poll comes out, BCS. Still, it doesn't matter. If NU wins out, and beats UT in the Big 12 Championship, it doesn't matter. Quote Link to comment

That doesn't matter to some voters, they just go by the "what have you done for me lately" technique. and the teams ahead of us that you probally think that we can beat won yesterday. Huskrz65
I am happy too. Just staying in the Top 25 would've satisfied me. Now let's hope the players pull it together and don't let yesterday be a letdown like it was when we played Texas Tech last year. NU can run the table all the way to a BCS berth. Touchdown Tommie
I am very happy with this ranking...it could have been a lot worse. These polls mean nothing to me until the last couple of weeks. Quote Link to comment
HuskerHank
The only 2 loss teams ahead of us are Oklahoma, and LSU, so that's about right. I think LSU is too high at 14th.Two losses is two losses, regardless of preseason ranking, or percieved team strengths. At this point, I hope Notre Dame gets beat again, and if we can win out, and beat Texas, maybe we could get in a bowl matchup with ND. I think we'd beat the crap out of them. The last thing I want to see, is ND win out, and the media snake them into the national title game, but it would not surprise me. As far as us holding our poll position relatively well, I think because it was widely televised, many got to see that we had them beat, but for the unfortunate fumble, and it helped us. gamecocks
It doesn't really matter where we are ranked. We are out of the NC race right now, but all of our goals are still in reach and the polls cannot effect whether we reach them or not. Quote Link to comment
strigori
I have no problem with the undefeated teams ahead of us. Oklahoma being ahead of us just confuses me. Whoever voted them up must not have watched the game. The polls have no real bearing on our season on the field, but I wouldnt hurt recruiting to be higher. MY main beef is it translates to a lack of respect for the program from people outside the state. Quote Link to comment
