Hawkeyehusker
it's starting right now Whats he had to say so far??? Callahan really didn't say much. He just talked about lost opportunities. Then started raving about just how good the tigers are. Especially their QB. He said the team really had its work cut out for them this week. I stepped out of the room for a minute so I might have missed it, but I was hoping he would have said somethiing about Greg Austin. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
ah yea, no sh#t Bill.......Chase is gonna throw for 300 plus yards, so cos better bring the house and rush his ass........hell, we can't cover the receivers anyway, so why not rough the guy up and make him pay early? better than laying back and watching the slow, predictable death of the D..... BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
It was mostly the typical coach-speak and he referenced OSU's physicality. He actually sounded a bit depressed and simply answered Rose with "yeah" a few times. Not the Coach Callahan who normally gives in depth responses. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
not a good sign for preparing the kids for this week..... Quote Link to comment
Hawkeyehusker
You guys remember what Callahan said last year? "...I don't feel stress, I apply it..." Well with the tigers this week and the aggies on deck I sure hope he's right. Quote Link to comment

After the close loss to Texas there had to be something of an emotional let down this week. The team just seemed out of sync. Particularly on defense. I don't think we'll lose to the tigers, especially in Lincoln. We had a four game losing streak last season and the team was able to come together and win that away game in Boulder. Jadler
I think its really gonna help the defense with the game being at home this week. Having a road game after an emotional loss like that had to tear them apart... Quote Link to comment
husker rob
i am sure that this season is wearing everyone on the team down. for the last few years there has alway been a bye week to get some rest and heal up before confrence play and then right before the CU game. right now it looks like the team depth is hurting more then anything. and the early injuries didnt help out anything. but the season is not over and the team goals can still be met Quote Link to comment

Even with the unexpected loss to the cowboys we still can win the division. Really all we have to do is beat the tigers. And it's a home game. Quote Link to comment
