I had a similar surgery about 12 years ago. My lower jaw was too big, so they cut out a section from each side and slid it back. I know what you mean about the swelling. It is crazy, and takes a while to go down. When the swelling goes down, your sinuses will open up and you will be amazed by the stuff coming out of your nose... Quote Link to comment
