gratefulhusker
http://wearesc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=93252#post93252 Regardless of all going on...I guess this made me feel somewhat better. Although I would rather have the best team AND the best fans, this is pretty cool. Still, I can't help but wonder if I'd trade the best fans for the best team? Discuss amongst yourselves. Husker_Power
wow, most of them said that Nebraska is now their second favorite team and or they will be watching and rooting for us more! Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
The Nebraska fans are first class in hospitality, sportsmanship and team spirit. USC could learn MUCH from them. Wow, very impressive.....must read for Husker fans...in the end, at least we came away with something positive on the weekend. Good to hear Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
wow! There are some great comments on that board. Husker fans all over should be proud Quote Link to comment
Foppa
A must read for the people who think it is stupid to applaud an opponent's efforts. A true fan appreciates a sporting effort and victory, even if it isn't by the team they support. USC has a great team, they showed it on the field, congratulations to them. This post shows that there are also great fans of USC. I know, I met some of them last year at the game. I was a little hesitant about returning to SoCal, as I was held at knifepoint in Hollywood when I was 15. That doesn't easily leave your mind, even if you know that that isn't the norm. But these were football fans, great people, almost all were friendly and willing to give advice on everything from parking to hotspots at night. Yeah, they were a little cocky...but can you blame them??? Hopefully Nebraska can be as dominating as USC. Huskers have done it before...they will do it again. Quote Link to comment
HUSKERWANK07
We truly are the best fans in all of college football! AND YES WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
coyeote
Isn't it like being voted the most popular while finishing last in a beauty contest? There was a time when Memorial Stadium would roar constantly and it was an intimidating place to play a football game. Not so anymore or at least not like it was. It's one thing to applaud the other team, it's a whole other thing to be courtious outside the stadium but come one. Did USC ever once have any difficult calling a play, was it even once loud enough that one of their guys jumped off side? When was the last time the crowd was an issue for a visiting team. Granted last year our D said the crowd was too loud for them to communicate but go figure. It's not like the D can't run around and communicate. The offense is stuck in place and must scream to make any adjustments, call the count out etc. Not here though With all the comments this week regarding players and coaches this is just my opinion but why don't we put on some soothing music, broadcast is over the stadium sound system, throw some incense on the grills along with the Fairbury Hotdogs, set the lights low and hold hands during the game. Because this is football, not porn. I thought the stadium sounded loud on TV, maybe not so much at 42-10? Probably hard to get even the students worked up at that point, let alone the blue-hairs that had been asleep since about the time NU was up 10-7. Quote Link to comment
admo
Reading those - it's always good to hear that! Very cool! And it wouldnt be possible without such great fans! Quote Link to comment

captain obvious
It's probably more indicative of character to be gracious in defeat than after your team has just finished thrashing the opposition. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Very cool. That makes me very proud of our fans..................good luck to you SC. Quote Link to comment
