Well, since USC, UofA, ASU, San Diego St are all in the middle of a city, and they campuses are right there next to or part of the campus the idea that NU is in the middle of town and on campus doesn't hold water and all those schools are dry.

 

There has to be an issue. Does anyone know the real reason?

Your right, however all of those schools are in a different state and city. Different states and cities have different rules. Hell, in Texas and Louisiana you can have an open container.
