Movbez4
That Osborne could land Rich Rodriguez from WVU, as the ent Huskers coach? Dr. Tom indicated that he likes the offense that Urban Meyer runs, butthere is no chance Urban leaves UF, but Rodriguez runs basically the same offense. Quote Link to comment

He is as solid there as Osborne was here. Quote Link to comment

Rodriguez turned down alabama, he isn't going to leave west virginia anytime soon. Quote Link to comment
captain obvious
Well, I was just drinking with Tom Osborne at the Brass Rail last night, and he didn't say anything about that. Quote Link to comment

Liking someones offense does not mean he's going to offer that coach a job. Quote Link to comment
huskersrule95
I dont see any way that he would leave WV for here. Like it was said before, he if turned down Alabama last year and what they were supposively offering him, I am sure he wouldn't leave for here. Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
This dude isn't going anywhere. He will never leave WV ever. He can take partial qualifiers and his conference is highly overrated(no matter what the rankings say). He turned a heck of a lot more money from Alabama then NU would ever offer him. This is a pipe-dream. How many Big East titles has this guy won? If I'm not mistaken it is 1. To that I say Big Deal. Quote Link to comment

No way he leaves his alma mater to coach somewhere else. For most any coach being able to coach at your alma mater is a dream come true. Quote Link to comment
AuroranHusker
Dr. Tom indicated that he likes the offense that Urban Meyer runs... but Rodriguez runs basically the same offense. Intriguing thought to have the next Husker team running the 'spread option'.......... To go a step further (on the new coaching search), maybe the revived Blackshirt D will also find a way to defend that 'zone read option' better! Quote Link to comment
