Ugh, sorry, but that's just classless. Nice play be Ganz, but good lord, Callahan.

I don't care...shove it down their throats. Tired of Callahan taking the foot off the pedal once we get a bit of a lead. We need this win.

Besides, at some point, you just keep going for it, and if they lose on 4th down, whatever - you're giving them good field position, so it's a gift to them. It's like when you're up a lot and it's down to the end, and you're in field goal range...do you try for the trey, or just go for it and see what happens? Going for it is more humane. Same argument can be made here. Try to pin them deep in their own territory, or just say, what the heck?

Agreed. And it's pretty stupid, you can pin a team deep from the 50, but if you don't make it you turn it over in decent field position. Just because it worked doesn't make it not stupid.

But mostly classless. I think Callahan knows he won't be coaching in college again, so why not? Thanks for leaving behind lots of good will, Bill.

Screw that, when Nebraska has been a doormat this season, it's time to make someone else the doormat, especially when he's goignt o get fired he might as well pull out all the stops. It was 4th and 20, if anythign he's planning on giving them good field position. Thay should never have gotten that!
