PREDICT THE SCORE - RUSHING - PASSING YARDS FOR NU

 

3 different contests - 3 winners - up to 15 Huskerboard points

DIRECTIONS:

1) Post up to 3 predictions (use same post) for the current game in this thread by clicking on the "Reply" button at the bottom of the screen.

2) This thread offers 3 different contests: Predict the SCORE FOR THIS WEEKS GAME - NU'S TOTAL RUSHING YDS - & NU'S TOTAL PASSING YARDS.

3) Include both team names - if you do not include both team names it will be assumed that Nebraska is the higher of the two.

4) You do not need to compete in all of the contests. However, if you do not at least include NU's total yds with your score prediction, and another member predicts the same score - the member who included the total yds will win.

 

RULES:

-The tie-breaker for all three contests is NU's total yds (your rushing + passing prediction). Therefore, there cannot be exact duplicates including BOTH the Score and Total Yards.

-Review the other posts to ensure your post is not a duplicate, and if your score & total yards are the same as another member’s, adjust your total yards or score.

-If duplicates occur, the first post created will be the winner.

-Please don't enter discussion posts on this thread unless it's included in your prediction post.

-Predictions must be posted at least 30 mins prior to kick-off. The time-stamp on your post will be used as the deciding time, so adjust your time zone setting in your "Control Panel" to ensure your posts are accurate, OR get your post in early so there is no confusion!!

 

The winner for each contest will be awarded 5 HuskerBoard points. 5 points = $5 redeemable for Husker Gear. Total available winnings for this thread: 15 HuskerBoard points.

Nebraska 31

Colorado 24

 

I think this one will be close, Colorado's defense has looked good at times, though their offense has be lackluster....but then you have to wonder which defense of Nebraska shows up...the inspired, or the quitters? I think it will hinge on the success of the Husker offense, if they do well, then the defense will show up, otherwise expect the defense to quit half way through the 3rd quarter again, and the offense to be passing 3 out of 4 plays with Colorado getting pressure on Ganz and picking him off several times. This is going to be a game that totally relies on the emotional state of the players.....maybe they should feed them uppers before the game.

Who shows up for Nebraska, good Joe Ganz or bad Bill Callahan? What shows up for Colorado, a dominant running game or 20 dropped passes?

 

Honestly, I have no idea.

 

CU - Drunk

NU - Whining about drunks

 

 

But if NU is whining about the drunks...that will happen after the game...for years to come...lol. CU just wakes up with a hangover. We win.
