Post your specs for your top machine, and let's see who's king of the hill. I'll start off. Intel 1.8 GHz and then for my video card it's just something really basic (I dont play games so it's all I need) I have a laptop so it's not supposed to be some powerful machine, but it does the job for me. I've had this crap Dell that I used to run MythTV in my theater, which died, and just loaded it with as much as I could. Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 2.13GHz, 2GB DDR2 ECC, 160GB SATA II, DVD-ROM/CD-RW, NVIDIA QUADRO NVS285. As soon as I get my credit card paid off, I'm going to build a new one. Quote Link to comment
