BIGREDIOWAN Posted October 20, 2008 Share Posted October 20, 2008 we will be playing the #25 team in the alamo bowl I disagree and I'm willing to bet if we can finish 8-4 you will see us vs. Iowa in the Alamo Bowl. Bottom line is these bowl games are about money and attracting fans. Iowa and the Huskers travel just about as well as anyone in college football and would attract a huge crowd. They are well on their way to being 8-4 since they are 5-3 right now. The only loss on the schedule that I can see is to Penn State. The Alamo Bowl folks love Iowa and the Huskers and would foam at the mouth at this possiblity. Quote Link to comment
