SkullandBones
Gator bowl: Castille. There was a thread about who would step up in this game. He's your answer. Honorable mention: Steinkuhler. Great game for this sr. Season: Ganz, Suh and Swift. These guys defined what it means to be a Husker. Season MVP: Joe Ganz Quote Link to comment

Great game for this sr. Suh The big sack, the blocked FG attempt, and the solid play, how do you not give him a game ball.... Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
the whole team....even Hagg and O"Hanlon were crucial at the end! Quote Link to comment
dtbugeater
It was a team effort--but Hagg was a stud on that last drive. Without his plays we are probably looking at a very different end of the season. Quote Link to comment

redout22
Game- I believe Hagg was the player of the game just because of that huge sack and I agree there could have been a much different outcome if there wasn't that sack Season- Ganz and Suh. Ganz was the leader of the team and had a great senior year. I have to go with Suh as well just because he is a monster! Quote Link to comment
T-BONE
I say the wholed D-line they killed them today! Quote Link to comment
Blackshirtsguru
I personally think the Gator Bowl MVP trophy should of went to Alex Henery. He single-handedly scored 14 points......That wind was doing some strange things in the stadium today. Our front 4 really smacked their offense in the mouth on several occasions. rawhide
Ganz took the game ball at the end of the game Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
I deserve one for not having a heart attack from all the hi s and lows of this game.. Quote Link to comment

TaraTony
Game ball is shared between Ganz and Suh. Season ball goes to Ganz...he stands up there with Zac Taylor and Tommie Frazier as far as my favorite Husker Q.B.'s. Niles Paul needs to be picking up jockstraps left on the lockeroom floor after that performance. How Bo kept sending him out there, he must be a saint. That kid would have been riding the bench after the personal foul penalty. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirtsguru
I deserve one for not having a heart attack from all the hi s and lows of this game.. Good point. I went to the bathroom and I looked out on one of the entrance ramps leading in to the stadium....You would not believe how many people were smoking, trying to calm their nerves. These were both Husker and Clemson fans! Quote Link to comment
RedNLeader
Game for the gator bowl 1. Joe ganz 2. The man they call SUH! Season game balls 1. One and only one game ball and that goes to the coaching staff if it wasnt for those guys the huskers would be where they are right now! Quote Link to comment
BigRedfxtoy
Defense: Stieny without question. He tore up the o line big time. Infact Clemson had to quit double teaming Suh because he was hell on wheels. That is a huge part of Suh's success today. Offense: Castille! We had NO backs that could really play and our O line was manhandled. Castille was the only answer. We needed a big, smash face (wich he most defenitely did a few times) power running Back. He speed certianly didn't hurt either. And no fumbles. NICE! GBR Quote Link to comment
