tattooedhusker
Start Lee for two years. RS Green this year, and get him in certain situations next year, and then a 3yr starter. Quote Link to comment
husker B-rent
Start Lee for two years. RS Green this year, and get him in certain situations next year, and then a 3yr starter. exactly what i am thinking. i have seen lee play in person and he is very very impressive to say the least. on top of that he is the most mobile on the team and he is also quite accurate when he puts the ball in his hands. witt has not been impressive and has in fact been disappointing in the snaps he has had this past year. he fumbled two snaps and almost fumbled another.............in limited snaps. spano could be the x-factor. (he certainly is no beau davis) he is very very accurate and can also run about the same as ganz. in the end Lee is the best athlete and he can run the best, spano may be a better passer but only slightly. Lee will win out as he has just as much knowledge of the system as witt and he is a much better athlete. green should redshirt and IF HE IS GOOD ENOUGH IN 2 YEARS THEN HE CAN START. zoogs
Husker B-rent, with all due respect you are making wild assumptions if you think that "Lee has just as much knowledge of the system as Witt" just because they have had the same time in the system. I am just wondering because I don't know the state of how Witt and Lee are each grasping the offense, but we've been hearing that Witt was making quantum leaps while Lee was struggling a bit. This may be changing - is it? I won't dispute that Lee is the more athletic. Quote Link to comment
papersun87
I vote Lee, even though we haven't seen him as much as Witt. Witt has a nasty fumbling habit. Quote Link to comment
huskersc
I vote Lee, even though we haven't seen him as much as Witt. Witt has a nasty fumbling habit. Everyone makes mistakes. I want Patrick Witt. Quote Link to comment
Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
I think the choice is fairly obvious, now that that Suh has decided to stay for his senior year... Quote Link to comment

Watson has said that Lee has all but caught witt on knowledge of the system and on top of that they have both been here for the same amount of time. clearly if i say I think Lee will be the starter i am stating my opinion. im not basing it off of any inside info or anything like that, just things that have been stated by coaches and when i saw Lee play in person vs. seeing witt play on tv. judging by talk from the coaches i think that a running qb is likely and Lee is the best running qb on the team, imo. REDSTEEL
I vote Lee, even though we haven't seen him as much as Witt. Witt has a nasty fumbling habit. Kind of like a fan favorite MVP. Though if your basing it off the Clemson game it was ruled not a fumble with both knee on the ground. Quote Link to comment

zoogs
okay, thanks for the tip B-rent. Hadn't heard that the coaches said Lee was up to Witt in grasp of the offense. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
Lee has the intangibles that this offense needs. that and his style would pave the way for Cody.. Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
I vote for Tim Tebow or Zac Lee whichever one is fine with me. Quote Link to comment
huKSer
I voted for Jim Ebke cause I thought no one else would , but I'm pretty sure Witt is the starter. Lee just does not get it yet. Same here, plus he went to my HS (although MAAAANY years difference) Quote Link to comment
