kstatehater
I don't remember. Lee threw behind a few too many times but "if the ball touches your hands............" 4 seems about right. but what was it? Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
I know Helu had the first drop and McNeil had one as well. There was at least one more, possibly two? They were a little behind, but I think the player got both hands on them each time, if memory serves. Gotta catch those. Quote Link to comment

I'm thinking Holt had one and so did Gilleylen but Gilleylen made up for it with that juggling catch he made.... Quote Link to comment

REDSTEEL
about 4 seems right. Gilleyen Holt Helu McNeil each had one Quote Link to comment
Enhance
I think there was more than four, because I remember a pass getting into Kyler Reed's hands but he couldn't hold onto it because an FAU player hit him pretty quickly after he got it. Definitely have to shore up those dropped balls. Quote Link to comment
RedNLeader
I could expect that its all in adjusting to a new QB in a real game time situation..So i think they will have the timming down soon. Quote Link to comment
General Blackshirt
I'm thinking Holt had one and so did Gilleylen but Gilleylen made up for it with that juggling catch he made.... So, Gilleyen drops one pass, but makes up for it by not cleanly catching another pass? Saying that was a good catch just makes absolutely no sense; he made an easy catch look difficult, so we should give him credit for that? Good receivers just catch it without the juggling crap. He's light years ahead of last year and I think this game gave him the confidence he'll need to be a go-to guy. Quote Link to comment

Um, the only reason he made that catch look 'hard' is because he was interfered with on that play (the flag was thrown for DPI). The CB grabbed him and turned him enough to get him almost sideways, but CG still made the catch. If anything, CG deserves major props for making a catch like that after getting interfered with. HuskerTD
The pass that Gilleylen juggled was also pass interference so I don't blame him for that, especially since he caught it. So yes he should get credit for catching that inspite of being interfered with. Quote Link to comment
c-flush
I didn't see Gilleylen drop any balls. Helu and McNeill each dropped one in the 1st quarter, and Holt and Reed each dropped one in the 2nd quarter. Green's bullet to Reed in the 4th hit Reed's hands, but I don't think it was a very catchable pass. Quote Link to comment
General Blackshirt
It didn't look like Gilleyen was interfered with right before he caught the ball; it looked like he had 2-3 strides before the pass got to him. That said, if the reason he couldn't initially catch the ball was because he was off balance or something from the interference, then I'll agree with you. It didn't look that way to me, but Curenski is the only one who knows. Quote Link to comment
