NamelessHusker
Offensive tackle Jeffery Adams will be visiting the wake forest game. That makes 20 official visit in just the first 2 games. The coaches are WAY AHEAD of last years target. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Is Jackson still going to take his visit? Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
As of right now, it doesn't look good. He's using the excuse of it being far away from home and the offense not clicking well so far. I didn't exactly know that one year after running an option/power running attack offense is supposed to be the barometer for the future success of Nebraska's WCO. Someone has been in Jackson's ear and has misguided him really badly. Although if you speak to some people who have watched Jackson play personally, they will tell you he is WAY overrated. So take this as bad news or however you want. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
List updated to show Jordan McMichael now officially visiting. The rest of the guys i reported would be visiting in this thread have all setup visits except Dominque Franks who continues to toy with the coaching staff and Troy Giddens, but i think he will set it up soon. NamelessHusker
Cameron Nelson committed to Arizona tonight. So far, that's 2 guys who were planning on visiting and have backed off. Jackson for whatever reason and Cameron Nelson because he committed. Had those 2 visited, we would have 42 official vistors before the season even began, which is remarkable all together. Either way, it's good that Cameron verballed now instead of having us waste a visit on someone who might end up a Husker eventually. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt
Bummer news - but thanks for sharing Nameless. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Every single thing I've read points to the fact the recruits loved the fans because they knew who they were. So below is the list that Nameless put together, start studying and cheer and holler their names again. SEP 10th Weeeknd (vs WAKE FOREST) 01- David Ausberry -WR (Dennis Wanger/Ted Gilmore) 02-Ricky Thenarse -DB (Bill Busch) 03-Bruce Campbell OT/DT (Dennis Wagner/Scott Downing) 04-Delashaun Dean WR (Dennis Wagner) 05-Mau Nomani OL (Dennis Wagner) 06-Jamie Nixon -ATH (Bill Busch) 07-Jeff Adams (Randy Jordan) 08-Quintin Hancock WR (Randy Jordan) 09-Terrell Reese-WR (Ted Gilmore) 10-Pierre Allen DE/TE (Ted Gilmore) Unofficial visit Quote Link to comment

Touchdown Tommie
This might be a senseless question that no one has an answer to, but I will shoot away anyways. Being from Minnesota, the worthless Gophers are unable to keep a lot of the top recruits in state. Does NU come up here very often? I know that Swift and Murtha are from MN, but there are some top players up here. Maybe I am just being bias, but just a thought. Any insight/opinions would be greatly appreciated. Eric the Red
I know there high on Jordan McMichael. I guess they shoot for a couple players every now and then. With this staff every player, every where is fair game. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Minnesota is similar to Nebraska in terms of talent available in the state. That's why you don't see many 4 and 5 star players coming out of that state. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
recruits Jamie Nixon, Terrell Reese and Mau Nomani have cancelled their visits. Josh Freeman has moved up his visit to this weekend. We will also have a few unofficial visitors. Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
Nixon's visit was scheduled to be last weekend, but couldn't make it up due to money problems. He is however trying to schedule his visit for this weekend. He stated himself he was calling coaches on Wednesday (yesterday) to set it up. So I don't see how he can cancel a visit he possibly hasn't set up yet. http://nebraska.scout.com/2/435298.html Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Just depends on who you ask about whether a visit is scheduled or not. I don't trust information from Scout considering BRR still has a few guys who already committed elsewhere as visiting, which is not the case. You can trust them, i just don't, nor do i give their opinions much weight Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
So direct quotes are now unreliable? Quote Link to comment
