knapplc
Id vote for him if were a better person off the field Why are you a bad person off the field? I guess I don't understand this statement. Or were you talking about Suh? If so, what the hell are you talking about? Quote Link to comment

np_husker
On espn.com looks like Bruce Feldman blogged about Suh and the Heisman, but you have to be an "insider" to read it. Anyone out there an insider? http://sports-ak.espn.go.com/ncf/index Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
Id vote for him if were a better person off the field I suppose you got inside information from Booger? Wait that was on the field where Booger made up getting spit on... Quote Link to comment

Anyone out there an insider? http://sports-ak.espn.go.com/ncf/index You don't need an Insider account to read the Suh part. Just click the link. Feldman says he will put Suh in his top five this week, which means Suh will get one point at the very least, and show up on the board here. Quote Link to comment
The Maudfather
Id vote for him if were a better person off the field I'd vote for Sean Weatherspoon if he didn't think stepping onto a football field is the same as stepping into a boxing ring. Quote Link to comment
JTrain
It's kinda sad to see how everyone at ESPN can not think outside the box. There whole board currently is QBs and RBs. How lame. If the Heisman is really for the most outstanding player, than other positions should get consideration too. The SI writer made a good point: Suh can make a difference on nearly every defensive snap, which means he can be just as valuable as a QB and even more valuable than a RB that touches it 20-25 times a game. Husker Runner
For this to get any real consideration, NU would need to get behind it and start marketing "Suh for Heisman". Grassroots is great but it needs to be pushed at the Heisman voters. I think it's a longshot that he'd actually win, but it is conceivable that he could be one of the invitees to the award ceremony.
