WCHusker
I'm not sure if this has more to do with his concussion than Sheffield's performance last week, but all indications are that Sheffield is starting. If Potts isn't cleared to play by the medical staff, this could be a very serious dilemma for Tech if Shef were to have to go out-even for a series or two. Quote Link to comment
skersRmyteam
lol Texas Tech is like the 4th best school at best in Texas... what tools Quote Link to comment
knapplc
I would definitely start Sheffield if I were Tech, especially against a D Line that gets penetration like ours. Sheffield is WAY more mobile than Potts. Potts would get killed in the pocket against Suh & Co. Sheffield has a chance on rollouts and maybe even some designed runs. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
Isn't Shef a walkon? Quote Link to comment
Vince from ShamWOW
I loved Potts first performance. See for yourself Quote Link to comment
irafreak
Plus there's that whole concussion factor. Gotta protect a kid from Suh. Quote Link to comment

Do a google on "anteater pose" and tell me if that's not what Lee was doing. I'd post it here but it has a potty mouth. Quote Link to comment

UGAHusker
Thing with Sticks though is that he's so darn skinnny that if Suh hits him, he's liable to break him in two. Quote Link to comment

rkhufu7
Sheffield lead Pflugerville Connally to back to back 4A state semifinals. His senior year he had 34 TDs and 3 INTs on a team with 2 1000 yard rushers. He was 6'4" and like 160 lbs and always mobile. I saw him toss 7 TDs on 9 attempts in one half of a playoff game. He should have been recruited by more schools. Quote Link to comment
