MNBIGRED
While watching the game in the beginning the announcers were saying there would be a battle between Suh and McCoy. I didnt see anyone nearly as good as Suh. Heck I would take Crick over McCoy. To think that McCoy is pegged as a top draft pick next year, how good is Suh then really? Im willing to bet Suh goes #1 in the draft next year he is too insanely good to pass up. Back on topic, but for real Suh>McCoy Quote Link to comment

But Suh is a world apart from any defensive player, and Crick was the second best d-lineman out there tonight. Quote Link to comment
MCAT800
Well it must have been the great OL he went up against............ Quote Link to comment
BigRedWeatherman
Actually Suh and McCoy had pretty comparable stats on the night. 4 total tackles for Suh and 3 for McCoy. Suh blocked a huge FG, and McCoy recovered a fumble. Now I believe anyone who watched the game will obviously see that Suh (and Crick for that matter) performed better than McCoy, but when Todd McShay and Mel Kiper Jr. wake up in the morning and check to see how the battle between the 2 went, they will mostly look at the stats and see they were fairly even. It's a shame but thats how it goes. THey will probably see O'Hanlon's stats and say wow, he is a stud! I bet he will be Big 12 Def player of the week. If he is it is the 3rd seperate player for NU to get it this year! Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
Even some of the OU fans on soonerfans.com admit Suh is worthy of the Heisman and is far better than McCoy. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
I bet my roommate 30 bucks that Suh would be the #1 pick overall and that was 2 months ago. Glad to see he is living up to the hype and is a front runner for that pick. Quote Link to comment
Bosnian_Husker77
yeah i never understood how in the hell mcCoy was always picked over Suh in the preseason best DT, suh had like 76 tackles, NO WHERE close to mcCoy, he had like under 50 (i think?) it pissed me off. i bet Suh got more motivation off that to work harder, and look where hes at now.. LOL Quote Link to comment
Axl_sued_me
No question who the best DT in the country is. Gotta get a #93 jersey while they're hot. Quote Link to comment
newenglandhusker
I agree that Suh is better but let's not sell McCoy short. He is a beast. Quote Link to comment
Husker4lif3
McCoy should have to change his number after last night! Go SUUUHHH Quote Link to comment

Not sure about McShay, but am positive Kiper watches film of the games and with 2 very highly rated DT's playing in the same game I'm sure both of them will watch the film and be able to see who had the better game and which one helps his lineman out more. Crick is fricking awesome and is only going to get better, but with Suh beside him it makes him that much better because of how much attention other O-lines have to pay to Suh. He was doubled almost all night. The one personal foul against the Sooner O-lineman when he pushed Suh way after the whistle him and another O-lineman were both still blocking him. Bo-Nose
I think they said in the game that they were going to try and stay away from McCoy. The stats they showed between him and Suh looked pretty even and Suh outplayed him. I think they would be in the same league with Suh clearly being at the top. Quote Link to comment
808Husker in KCMO
If it was a certainty that the Chiefs would draft Suh, I'd gladly watch them lose out. Quote Link to comment
