AngryHusker88
What a f&cking beast. IMO Nebraska should use Rex Burkhead as the #1 RB against Texas, I think his explosiveness gives us the best chance to gash Texas' D for some yards & put us in a position to put points on the board. Obviously we should use Helu too, but I think Burkhead should be the #1 back Edited November 28, 2009 by AngryHusker88 Quote Link to comment
adc7236
No. Burkehead is good, but Helu is the man. Quote Link to comment

melscott62
Roy needs to protect the ball better. Quote Link to comment
kshusker89
Burkhead had 1 good game, helu has played great all year....no he shouldn't be the new starter, yes he should get some touches he is a tough runner and keeping our backs fresh next week is going to be key... Quote Link to comment
Miandrital
Overreaction. Hopefully they were just resting helu for next week, and he wasn't hurt or anything. When healthy he is one of the best backs in the big 12 Quote Link to comment
huskerSusan
Helu has proven himself all season. Rotate them, but Helu should be the starter. He should get more carries. Quote Link to comment

No, people were saying Cody Green should start b/c alot of people (myself included) felt that Zac Lee sucked & Cody Green couldnt possibly do any worse. Burkhead & Helu are both studs (although Helu needs to hold on to the football better - like he did earlier in the season). I feel like Burkhead is our best back & Helu is our best big play threat. BigWillie
Roy needs to protect the ball better. Roy has lost 3 fumbles in 3 years here. Two of them were against ISU when he should not have even been playing because he shoulder was so messed up. Quote Link to comment

KansasHusker
I hope this thread gets locked. Burkhead will be used quite a bit, but to say he should take the starting spot from Roy just because he was successful today against the Buffs is a bit foolish. Quote Link to comment
Nexus
I say we keep doing what we've been doing with rotating them. I feel they complement each other quite nicely. When one is struggling, the other picks up the slack. Quote Link to comment

Everyone knew that was the problem when Helu was constantly coming off favoring his shoulder. Heck, his shoulder still isn't 100%, but he's playing through it. I would almost take a picture of his fumble today, because it is a rarity. Almost like seeing Bigfoot. Quote Link to comment
