Saz
I didnt realize that Jax took him. Im watching him against the browns and he plays Tight End now. He is getting lots of play time and has at least one catch so far. Im happy to see him playing plus its cool to see a person who shares my name in the NFL. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Zac Potter, or Zach Miller? The Jags took Zach Miller from UNO (QB) as a TE. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Correction, I just checked the live box score and Potter is playing TE and has a catch. Very strange. Quote Link to comment
Overland Park Husker
Correction, I just checked the live box score and Potter is playing TE and has a catch. Very strange. Zach Miller is also playing TE and has a couple receptions + a TD, so you weren't wrong. Potter was a TE in HS and has the size to play it at the next level, though it's 4 years off at the position. Vince from ShamWOW
Wow thats kind of weird to imagine. Awesome though. Not really. Given his size, speed, quickness, and athleticism I think he could be a damn good TE in the NFL. Quote Link to comment
husker B-rent
makes ya wonder.... About what? well, we had an NFL caliber TE on the roster.... Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
Its not like Potter was just wasting away his time at DE... he was a hell of a DE for us and made a lot of plays. I noticed earlier this week he was a TE now and on the active roster. Hope he can make it work for him! Quote Link to comment
Overland Park Husker
makes ya wonder.... About what? well, we had an NFL caliber TE on the roster.... When Scott Frost was here we had an NFL safety on the roster. Whats your point? Potter did a great job at DE here. Quote Link to comment
Saz
They gave him some time talking about how Del Rio sees alot of potential in him and sees him developing into a good tight end. He had one penalty and they said he is going to have to fight his DE tendancies. Potter ended up with only one catch, once Jax got way to far behind his play time was cut. Looks like he was being used for most of the short yardage plays in the first half. I hope he develops, Zach Miller also had a good game in the loss. Quote Link to comment
