girlknowsfootball
I have heard from numerous sources that we are hard after this Dual Threat QB in Oregon too... QB Brett Smith Quote Link to comment

fro daddy
have not heard too much on Tapko other than he were one of the first to offer him. OU and MU are in the picture though. Tapko has two brothers that have/are attending MU. He is a big MU fan. However it has been this kids dream to play for OU since he was little. If I had to handicap it this early in the game I would say its about 60% he is at OU, 30% he is at MU and 10% other. But then again, we are in the first week of Feb. and a heck of a lot can change Quote Link to comment

mdhusker2010
Hate to be a downer but the link to Rob Hankins is also to Boomer Mays. Thanks for the excellent work I think we can do a lot of damage in this class! Quote Link to comment

mdhusker2010
Yea I watched Jamals highlights (awsome job in finding them) and came away extremely impressed. Only nock is he is inconsistent in his accuracy down the field. Which raises the issue that we need to get some high profile Wrs to help him out. Who do you think our best options are at this point? IMO I feel like these are some very high profile Wrs you listed and feel like we are on the outside looking in on most of them. Quote Link to comment

We are actually pretty well stocked at WR in terms of what is currently on the roster. Miles is an immediate Texas committ should they offer. Metoyer is said to be a Texas committ should they offer as well. I am trying to figure out who Texas's top targets are at the moment so that I will be able to answer your question more accurately. We have been in on these guys early so you never know. Dont sleep on Kameel Jackson. Him and Turner are very close. Once I find out who Texas will be recruiting the hardest I will PM you a better answer than this. Quote Link to comment

Yea because as I ran through the list they looked like mostly Texas and Oklahoma leans if they should be offered. But, thats why it is so important to be in on them early and start those connections before the others can! Quote Link to comment

HuskerT
Looks like the state of Texas has become our #1 priority and understandably so. It's always going to be tough going toe to toe with Horns. More importantly than ever wins will determine our class next year plain and simple. Considering our steady improvement under Bo and Co. if we make a BCS bowl this year (which we're certainly capable of) I think we'll cement ourselves in the top 1o recruiting rankings for years to come. EZ-E
Some people might not think this affects us, but it does. Here is a list of junior day visitors to the University of Texas. David Ash - Belton Malcolm Brown - Cibolo Steele Jaxon Shipley - Brownwood Trey Metoyer - Whitehouse Miles Onyegbule - Arlington M.J. McFarland - El Paso El Dorado Sedrick Flowers - Galena Park North Shore Josh Cochran - Hallsville Christian Westerman - Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton Sedrick Flowers - North Shore Taylor Doyle - Lake Travis Desmond Jackson - Spring Westfield Marquise Anderson - Cibolo Steele Cedric Reed - Cleveland - DE Nathan Hughes - Klein Oak - DE Chet Moss - Cedar Park - LB Steve Edmond - Daingerfield Anthony Wallace - Dallas Skyline Devon Hocutt - Killeen Ellison Leroy Scott - South Houston Sheroid Evans - Sugar Land Dulles Aaron Green - San Antonio Madison Feb 27 Herschel Sims - Abilene Bradley Marquez - Odessa Brandon Williams - Brookshire-Royal Quincy Russell - San Antonio Sam Houston James Castleman - Amarillo Trevon Randle - Clear Springs Kendall Thompson - Carthage Eric Agbaroji - Midlothian Nick Shepard - Cy Ridge Mykkele Thompson - San Antonio Stevens Quandre Diggs - Angleton Have an invite but havnt confirmed if they are coming: Marquis Jackson - Fort Worth Arlington Heights Jermauria Rasco - Shreveport (La.) Evangel (if schedule doesnt conflict) Ladarius Brown - Waxahachie Desmond Roland - Dallas Lake Highlands As you can see Aaron Green and Malcom Brown both visit first. So they will be given an opportunity to commit first. I dont expect Green to commit first but it wouldnt surprize me if Brown does. If Brown commits then I see them taking Brandon Williams and letting A. Green go. We should know the picture with Texas running backs better at the end of February and beginning of March.
