Nexus
People over at HI saying he died in a freak skateboarding accident. More details to come later. I realize he was booted off the team in '06 for DUI, but this is still a horrible tragedy regardless. Quote Link to comment

BSmack1
I worked with Justin here in Solana Beach, CA. Yes, sadly & tragically, he passed away over the weekend. He suffered serious head injuries in a skateboarding fall and the Dr.'s tried everything they could. As someone who knew him well, I can tell you this... Justin loved being a Husker. You should have seen his pride after the Holiday Bowl this year. He couldn't have been happier. Quote Link to comment

dubsker
I realize he was booted off the team in '06 for DUI, but this is still a horrible tragedy regardless. I would go as far to say he deserved better than having that mentioned in the OP. Condolences to family and friends. Quote Link to comment

I would go as far to say he deserved better than having that mentioned in the OP. Condolences to family and friends. No disrespect intended. Just stating the obvious for the sake of showing that regardless of his short tenure with the team under the circumstances, it is still a tragedy. As I said in my follow-up post, Once a Husker, Always a Husker. Quote Link to comment
