A statement on Inter Milan's official website reads:

 

"F.C Internazionale and Rafael Benitez communicate that, mutually and with reciprocal satisfaction, they have reached an agreement for the resolution of their working relationship."

It is rumored Benitez's buyout clause was $3 million.

Moratti Hints At Boxing Day Decision

 

"Today is not the day," Massimo Moratti is quoted as saying by Goal.com Italy. "We will do something and you will get to know more on December 26 or 27."

 

When questioned whether Leonardo is the frontrunner for the job and whether appointing the Brazilian would be a snub towards arch-rivals Milan, Moratti replied, "I never make this kind of reasoning, I do not live out of spite."

OFFICIAL: Ibrahim Afellay Joins Barcelona On A Four-And-A-Half Year Contract

 

A statement on Barcelona's official website reads: "Ibrahim Afellay signed the deal at 11 o’clock this morning. The 24-year old’s contract is for four and a half years and includes a $100 million buyout clause. The deal also includes an agreement for Barça to play PSV in their centenary match in 2013."

 

PSV and Barca had already agreed upon a $3 million transfer fee in November.

Arsenal Interested In Sergio Canales

 

According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Arsene Wenger is interested in acquiring Real Madrid youngster Sergio Canales. Canales has failed to feature regularly and Wenger will try to secure the Spaniard on loan for the remainder of the season. Canales signed a 6 year deal with Madrid in the summer.
