Street Novelist Posted February 24, 2011 Author Share Posted February 24, 2011 Khedira To Miss 15 Days With Thigh Injury Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira will be sidelined for the next 15 days because of a thigh injury he suffered during the 1-1 draw with Lyon on Tuesday night in the Champions League. The German was replaced with Lassana Diarra on 68 minutes with Real Madrid later releasing a statement, revealing that Khedira "suffers from a Grade II fibrilar tear on the psoas major muscle of his left thigh. He will miss two to three weeks and his progress is being monitored." Khedira could miss Madrid's next 3 league games against Deportivo La Coruna, Malaga and Racing Santander. Quote Link to comment

Despite having a contract that runs until 2015, the lack of first team action at Barcelona could see Krkic depart, regardless of claims in Spain that he is seen as part of the future. Manchester United, Chelsea and AC Milan have all previously been linked with the World Cup winner, but Rene didn't name any particular clubs. He told The People: "Some big clubs in England and Italy have been interested in Sergio for some time.
